Hotels in Saint Petersburg with Swimming Pools

Have been here so many times in the past and now found it deserted, empty and grey. Not sure if a bathtub is any longer an extra value (we'd preferred a shower cabin)... same as a spa, if it is that kind of spa... where personnel claims they know better than the customers how to do sauna properly (I live in Scandinavia for almost 20 years and hopefully qualify ;)) We were asked for proof of COVID-vaccination, but then... people at the breakfast restaurant were not wearing masks and even the security guard in the lobby was not always doing so. Breakfast in general has also deteriorated in diversity, but it was bearable ;) Pedestrian walkway along the hotel was not cleaned of ice (well, it was the case of St.Petersburg in general). Perhaps, the proximity to the airport is the best remaining merit of the hotel, sorry to say that... :(((

The room is big enough, but the balcony is very small and can’t get out. The balcony wall is very high and you can’t see the river view outside. Of course, you may consider the safety factor to get such a high cement wall. The entrance is under construction when you check in, which will affect the traffic and location. We lived in the hotel 8-9 June. We arrived very early in the morning, at 6 a.m. and we were settled immediately. Room 730. Windows in the yard. Very quiet, although the hotel is in the very center of the city. Everything is clean. There is a tea set. A strange solution with champoo, gel and balsam. It is better to pour them into the dosage. And a strange solution with the curtain in the bathroom.... The toilet paper is wet. There is a smooth board in the room. Utig and toothbrushes on request. A chic breakfast. Kashi, omlets, very delicious sausages and quiz cabbage. Breads, cheese, becon, champagne, vegetables, fruit. Fruit is very much. There are peaches, and apples and bananas, peanuts and arbuzas. Yogurts, jams, honey. But! Most important! We asked for a late departure and we were allowed to stay in the room until 6:00, for which the huge gratitude to the hotel staff. So we managed to pay, stay the vertile for a day in fact 2 days) after that, also left for the purse until late in the evening. Thank you very much for the welcoming staff of this hotel. It will be nice to return, tk the hotel is very conveniently located. Все очень близко!

The hotel is just next to St. Isaac's Cathedral, 10 minutes from the subway station and about 10 minutes from the Winter Palace. The English language at the front desk of the hotel is very good and the service attitude is very good. The room was very comfortable and tidy, our twin room, standard single bed. The restaurant on the first floor of the hotel is also good. It is too cold to have a night, so you can eat it directly. It is not expensive!

Breakfast is good, there are many options

The hotel itself is a solid 3 + stars, not 4. The deluxe suite with a view of the Neva is beautiful: clean, the view was pleasing (for the sake of it they took it), a good SPA complex with a swimming pool in the hotel. Additional services (massages, etc.) are quite expensive. But if you take only the entrance to the pool and saunas - it is quite economical. Service is good, clean, but you need to book in advance. Bering restaurant on the ground floor, of course, sadness. The level of service is a weak three. And the feel of the restaurant too. In general, the hotel is pleasant, the location is chic. Everyone is happy.

I was at Grand Hotel Emerald at the end of July 2022, I was there only for one night. The room was spacious and clean so was the bathroom, the bed was very nice and comfortable. The food from the restaurant was nice. The staff members were super nice and friendly.

Я знаю эту гостиницу давно, еще когда на первом курсе института проходила там практику, теперь я приезжаю сюда в качестве гостя, и могу с уверенностью сказать, что высокие стандарты обслуживания, уважение к своей истории, теплое отношение к гостям - это то, что остается неизменным в этом замечательном месте. За прошедший год мы останавливались в Европе не менее 3 раз в самые памятные для нас даты - на нашу свадьбу, день рождения мужа, годовщину свадьбы и мой день рождения. Каждый раз мы чувствовали себя максимально комфортно и соответственно уровню гостиницы. 3 раза бронировали террасу и один раз делбкс с видом на площадь Искусств. В чем их принципиальное отличие? Делюкс больше - сама комната и ванная, в отличной от других номеров цветовой гамме - беж и зеленый, гарантирован вид на площадь. Больше особых отличий не заметила. Окно открывается полностью, оно достаточно большое, чтобы полюбоваться видом и сделать красивые фото. Терраса - все номера находятся на 5 этаже и выходят либо на Площадь Искусств, либо на Михайловскую улицу. И хотя со всех сторон открывается красота города, нам достался вид на площадь только один раз, в день нашей свадьбы, сколько раз мы не делали примечания к бронированию, что будем благодарны за номер на эту сторону, к сожалению, больше жить именно с этим видом не довелось) Сам номер меньше делюкса, выдержанный в бежевых или розовых тонах. Ощущается некоторая нехватка пространства и ”воздуха”, но которая с лихвой окупается французскими окнами в пол и возможностью завтракать/обедать и ужинать с панорамным видом на город. Наполнение номера, как шкатулочка - разные бокалы, чашечки, приборы, шикарный набор открыток, ручки, карандашики, блокнотики, хороший фен, все для химчистки. Меню подушек для лббой головы и шеи, которые всегда можно попросить у бэкофиса. Фумигатор!) Есть кофемашина, и чайный набор (отдельный респект за вкуснейший чай ”Althaus”), которые всегда можно пополнить по запросу. Минибар за доп.плату, но выбор широкий - от вкусных сладких и соленых снеков до элитного алкоголя. В ванной комнате широкий выбор косметики неплохой фирмы Elemis, везти что-то с собой нет необходимости - шампуни, кондиционеры, молочко для тела, шетки, расчески, бритвенные наборы, даже соль для ванны. Уборка производится два раза в день: утром и вечером, когда номер готовят ”ко сну”, оставляя шоколадные медальки и пожелания на день. Наборы в ванной пополняются после каждой уборки. Внимание персонала видишь на каждом шагу - от встречи на входе, даже не на входе, а на подъезде к гостиницы, когда к тебе сразу подходят, чтобы открыть дверь и помочь с багажом, до баночки меда и поздравдений с памятными датами на каждой твоем шагу в гостинице. Завтраки - отдельная тема. Мы их ждем каждый раз чуть ли не больше, чем самого проживания в Европе) таких вкусных яиц голландез мы не ели ни на одном из завтраков ни в одном из отелей. Были в апреле 2022. Все отлично: местоположение, тишина, отель в тихом дворике, доступность. Персонал на 5! Номер наш был небольшой, но все работало, все, что нужно, было. Потрясающая удобная кровать! Не сдвинутые 2 односпальные, как во многих местах, а именно большая кровать с мягким белоснежным бельём и самым комфортным матрасом!!!! Чистые полотенца, халаты, тапочки. В ванной все для душа есть (шампунь, гель). Чисто, аккуратно. На Пасху отель сделал приятный сюрприз (спасибо за куличики 🙏). Расположение отеля очень удобное. Вышел и иди в любую сторону - дойдёшь до всех достопримечательностей). На счёт кондиционера в номере сказать ничего не могу. В номере он есть, но не пользовались. В апреле в номере было по температуре то, что надо. Хотя отопление и выключено уже было. Слышимость в номерах средняя, но это почти во всех отелях видимо. Когда приходишь уставший, то сразу засыпаешь и ничего не слышишь))) Спасибо Аркадия. Теперь если в Питер, то только к вам.

The biggest plus of the hotel is its location. Two stops at the metro and we are in the center of Nevsky. Station right in the hotel building. Breakfasts are delicious but not hot. No heating. In the room everything is available. Why is that only 19 channels on TV. Bed and towels are snowy. Pillows, blankets. Cleaning in 3 days was never once, twice had to ask the maid to pick up the garbage. Question to the hotel administration: Why are the slugs fenced the parking place opposite the main entrance and do not pass the taxi. With heavy baggage you have to go to the slugs. Please correct this misunderstanding. Response issues are resolved quickly. The view from the room to Neva, who is unlucky - to the inner courtyard. The hotel is huge, the corridors are long.
