Great hotel central loads around it to do, staff for this hotel where also very lovely and helpful

There is no parking near the hotel. You have to park and drag your bags. 1 elevator was broken, but the other worked fine. Shower is hard to control, but once you get it set, it's nice. No door on the shower so the floor will get wet. Overall it was good and met our needs.

Everyone was so friendly, kind, and obviously knowledgeable about the area. They gave us great recommendations for other places around town to see, and we had an amazing time. The food at The Counter was so so good! Everything felt cozy but had a quiet luxury to it. We loved everything on our stay! We will definitely be back again soon!!

The location of this hotel is great, it’s in the middle of all the shopping and activities but the rooms are a little less desirable. You can hear everything In the rooms next to you but worse, your room’s bathroom doesn’t have a real door. It’s a barn door that’s not fixed so it swings outward ( loudly, you can hear everyone’s around you, too). If you have to use the bathroom, your entire party will hear every detail and maybe see it because there is no latch and the door is always partially open! The shower is the same way. Not a cozy way to spend your time if you’re staying with someone you wouldn’t like standing right next to you while you use the toilet. The beds are not great, the pullout couch creaks loudly. If you don’t mind these things, the location and ambiance of the roof bar is nice, the staff was very kind, but the room situation itself is not luxurious. We wouldn’t stay here again.

My first time in Salem. A lovely, clean hotel Friendly staff, which is true to be said of the locals too. Comfy room. Green friendly hotel. Great location.

Great location, staff not knowledgeable about things to do in town or places to eat and had no idea of available activities. We had a good time cute town.

amazing place to stay! the staff was phenomenal, the hotel was clean, the bed and room were as comfortable as it gets, food from The Counter was delicious. Overall it was just a wonderful experience!

Great location and easy check in/out. Room was great with the loft upstairs for the kids. The lobby restaurant was great as well. Easy to walk the city sites from the lobby.

This is all about location. Location. Location. It’s central to everything! I was at the end, so can’t say much about hall noise. Only one elevator was working, and that one was slow, so give yourself time to catch it. Hot water took awhile to heat up, but after it did, was good. The beds & pillows are great, I found them to be really soft and comfortable. The staff were nothing but great to me. I came in the dead heat of summer and the a/c is set pretty high and has one setting. Blast off. So if you’re not a fan of air blasting on you (I am not) this may not be the perfect place for you.
