Paolo was very friendly and available to help us. The place is located near the port and the historic center. There is a wide variety of places to eat nearby. The room has a coffee maker and provides breakfast.

This hotel is lovely with an attentive staff. It is quiet, enables privacy, and the rooms are elegantly modern. Especially good beds. I had trouble with a rusty shower on day of departure which seemed to be a fluke. The staff tried to address it as quickly as possible (not possible in the I had before I left) but they did offer compensation. I assume it was caused by construction next door which I never heard!

We are an older retired couple. We visit our family in New York quite often and we’re looking for a hotel with great service and a convent location. The Wallace was just what we wanted. All of staff at the Hotel was so friendly and helpful. We were even surprised with an upgrade when we arrived and had a spacious renovated room with a large shower. Amazing!! Four nights a week The Wallace has a piano bar in the lobby with live music, drinks and eats. The hotel is also just a block away from a large food market with fresh baked bread, pastries and a huge health food section. Altogether, The Wallace is a
quiet, comfortable hotel with a wonderful staff and great location. We’ve decided to make it our home away from home whenever we’re in New York City.

The hotel was nice, exceptionally clean and staff was very friendly. The room was very spacious and our family was very comfortable. Would highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again.

We have all positive things to say about this hotel, which has a terrific location on the UWS. The staff is very welcoming and professional. The rooms are super comfy. We loved the lounge in the hotel (do not miss the french fries). Great neighborhood restaurants and shops are a short walk with Central Park nearby. We will be back.

The properties up-to-date, and has great style. The only thing that should change is the downstairs area where it has just an amazing bar and lounge area but it was never open when we were there.
