Residence Inn Salisbury

Staff are super friendly, however this location is super dated. The furniture/tvs in the room all look heavily used and old. Definitely not the level of comfort you expect from a Marriott hotel.

The staff was very friendly. The room was good... but the water heater is clearly not working. We had cold water most of the time and the shower after running for 5 minutes only got to lukewarm intermittently. We had to boil water on the stove to clean our baby's bottles and giving her a bath was out of the question (to cold for a baby).

First room had roaches stink bugs or something but the staff was great and they gave candy canes donuts and ice cream when we checked in which was great but then since the first room had roaches stink bugs they upgraded us to a better room

The rooms had portable AC’s and the one in the bedroom leaked and the floor was soaked. We didn’t notice this until we went to bed, so changing rooms would have been a real pain.

Liked the kitchen and sitting areas. Room darkening curtains didn't close well and noisy AC unit was right by the bed in a closet and came off and on all night. Terrible night sleep. Breakfast was lousy.

Don't stay here Where do we start... Upon arrival at 11:30pm the front desk was having issues with their card encoder that would assign us a card to access our room. Although Andreya (Front Desk) was amazing at juggling, not only getting no answer from their IT support and having about 4 families, including my own, waiting to be checked in, We did not get into a room until about 2:30am after the maintenance employee finally informed Andreya she has a key that would allow access to each room. When we finally got into our first room, the room was very humid and just smelt moldy. We also found a bug on the wall/ceiling and a large one on the bed. We went and talked to Andreya and she put us in a different room. In the second room, the bathroom tiles were cracked, the soap "shelf" was barely hanging on to the wall, which eventually on night two fell off and almost hit my wife's foot as she was using the shower. We also had a roach run across the bathroom floor on the third night. The room also had a faint unpleasant smell I cannot describe. On day two after brining up the changing of rooms and the shelf falling off of the shower we were told we would be comped one night stay. We were satisfied with that until the next night when we saw two roaches in the bathroom. The day after we checked out a manager called and said the only thing we can do now is an extra $50 due to us not bringing these issues to their attention immediately. We tried to explain to the manager MULTIPLE times that the only

I wish the pool and jacuzzi was cleaned properly so I could use it.

Edith’s Friendly and attentive breakfast service We had a nine day stay at this hotel. Everyone was super friendly and the front desk was accommodating with regards to our room. We were greeted every morning at the breakfast center by Edith, who managed the kitchen and kept the breakfast area stocked very well. She was always cheerful made sure that we were satisfied with the daily breakfast.
