AVOID AVOID AVOID Not suitable for families with young children! Staff are rude food is either undercooked or overcooked with only a tiny selection of food. Chicken was pink when we informed the staff they said 'No one has ever compalined about our food' Not pram or wheelchair friendly at all multiple stairs to the pool!

I was worried reading the views before staying here but I’m so glad I didn’t listen! Such a fantastic family friendly hotel. Don’t book a 3 star hotel and then have high expectations! The rooms were so spacious, kids entertainment was fab. The food was good, not great but you always found something that you liked and it was different every night. I thought we was going to be on top of a mountain the way these reviews went on. Nope just a little hill with 15 mins walking distance from the beach etc. you can get a taxi for cheap or bus right outside the hotel. The water park down the road is fantastic. Yes it has a small pool but you can see that on the pics before booking - kids still enjoyed the pool - I couldn’t get them out. Don’t let reviews put you off!

Hotel staff very friendly building dated apartments decent size but no bath just a shower, food quality was good but they have a very small area so not much to choose from and at opening times was very busy snack bar was slow and only open from 12 - 5 then 9.15 - 10.15 bar was open from 11.30 till 10.15 or the only in the entertainment room was open till 11.30 but again not much room seating sun loungers dated and uncomfortable pool basic but OK all in if you are looking for a basic hotel with large rooms but not really bothered by the all inclusive side its fine but if thats what you are expecting go elsewhere

It's an average place to stay. The rooms are spacious enough but our air con did not work even after 3 different people csme to fix it. The food is limited not a fantastic choice but we didn't go hungry. Entertainment is minimal, the pool is cold the sun loungers were unkempt and some were broken most were dirty. They shut the pool bar when we were their which I couldn't understand as the place was still busy. I've been and wouldn't go back

I don’t usually write reviews, however this is much needed…. Well were to start… as a family of six we visited the hotel the last week of October 2023. The check in at the hotel was great, very fast and room was ready straight away. We were situated at the side of the hotel in the apartment area. Rooms: The only positive was the size of the rooms, we found dirty boxers under a bed, there was a constant sewage stench in one of the toilets, we was unable to use one of them the whole time. Bed sheets and towels were stained. We had limited hot water only 80 litres per time, once that was used we had to wait ages for the hot water to re heat up (with 6 of us this was a nightmare!) the kitchen in the rooms are run down. There is no hairdryer in the rooms these need to be hired from reception with a deposit put down. Shower curtain is disgusting needs replacing. Thin bed sheets were given these weren’t warm enough at night. Hotel staff: the staff in the snack bar area are very grumpy and rude, none of them ever cracked a smile. Life guard who sat on the side of the pool, she looked like she didn’t want to be there. She was sat with her hood up looking miserable the hole time. There was incorrect information given by the receptionist. Entertainment: Well it was terrible. It was the same evening entertainment kids disco and songs were the same daily, same with the bingo and kazhoot quiz. The day time entertainment was non existent, very effortless children were asked to make a macaroni necklace, guess the number of grains of rice in a pot, kick a ball into a net (penalty shot out). Splash dance was 2 songs, splashing a bit of the pool water around- that’s if you got in the pool as it was so cold! The children’s play park is terrible full of trip hazards, unlevel ground, my daughter tripped over a drain that was stuck out. There is no kids club. Food and drink: There are no slush puppies, only fizzy drinks (Pepsi, Pepsi max, 7up, fizzy orange and fizzy lemon) , terrible orange juice which was either really strong or really watered down, a kids cocktail which isn’t even advertised. If you want branded alcohol you have to pay, same with decent hot drinks from a different machine. If you want bottled water you have to pay. They can give you water from the tap or from the juice machine. No milkshakes. Watery hot chocolates. It’s not advertised at all on what’s included with the all inclusive. No ice creams except little pots that are free with the all inclusive. Even if you wanted to buy a different ice cream that was on the ice cream board they had none!!! In the restaurant area you had to clear your own plates away. The food choice was ok, if you’re a vegan or vegetarian there isn’t much at all except some salad and fruit. Puddings were very samey each day. Choice of 2 cakes, fruit, jelly and custard. Snack bar food was the same every day, pizza, burgers, chips, crisps, nuggets and a toastie. Only open 12.00-17.00 and 21.00-22.30 every day. The fre

When we first arrived at Festival village we thought we weren’t going to enjoy our holiday, but how wrong we were. It was one of the best holidays we have ever had and were so sad when it had to end. Our rooms were enormous, yes they were dated, but, we didn’t come on holiday to stay in our rooms, besides, the rooms were cleaned every day, our beds were made daily and fresh towels were also left daily. The air con was amazing and our balcony was massive. The food in the hotel was delicious, meats were succulent and there was always plenty to choose from. There were themed nights as well, barbecue, Chinese, Italian and proper roast dinners on Sunday. There were plenty of desserts to choose from and always lots of fresh fruit. A special Thank you to the chefs. The snacks were amazing, and lots to choose from, pizzas, chips, crisps, sandwiches, salads, fruit, ice cream etc… Entertainment was great. Mauri and Richard (Ricardo) were amazing. They always had fun things for us to do each day around the pool. Night time entertainment was good, there was kids disco, which ours absolutely loved, there was Bingo and after there would be a band or some other form of entertainment, something different each night. The staff at the hotel were so helpful, friendly and approachable. They were a credit to the hotel. There were busses that stopped right outside the hotel which took you to into Salou or to the Pineda beach. We used them a couple of times for days out.

Please be aware this is only my opinion !!!!! We have just returned after our 7th visit we have enjoyed the place so much over the years. Unfortunately we have decided this will be our last visit Many things have changed. The staff are all fantastic The food is plentiful lots of choice Unfortunately just a few times some where not cooked for long enough others overcooked. Now im an x chef of 35years but we are not fussy eaters. This time was spoilt due to the massive amount of unruly kids & teenagers running riot & very loud throughout all areas with no parental control. Its very sad we came to this decision but its been a pleasure knowing all the staff over the years. As said before it is my opinion only !!!!!! I hope that anyone visiting next year will have a great time and enjoy everything the hotel has to offer which is plenty.
