There was a surprise $50 incidental fee upon check-in that was not listed anywhere when we booked, as well as a $5/day parking fee, which also was not listed. The lot they charge you to park in is full of pot holes, half-filled with rocks.
The rooms are small and old and have some general wear.
Our tub drain did not close. There was no hot water for the first 5-10 minutes of a shower, until it became extremely hot all at once.
Though having a fridge was nice, it was extremely loud at times. The rooms are just loud as well from neighboring guests; thin walls and floors, can hear people's conversations in the hallways. Trains and nearby airplanes taking off are easily heard all day and night. Anything in the bathroom is just as loud in the rest of the room.
The bed was very firm, which some prefer and others hate, so take it or leave it.
The TV remote and TV were of 2 different brands and did not work together, so we had to manually control the TV.
Some good parts:
Though we didn't use it all, it was nice to have a fridge, sink, stove, dishwasher, cookware, dishware, and microwave in the room.
I liked the pillows.
The a/c and heater was quick and efficient.
