We had an early morning flight the next day and stayed one night. The room had a full kitchen, a microwave, and a big desk. It was really nice. There was airport transfer, but parking cost five dollars a night!

The location is near the airport, which is convenient for catching a flight the next day. I called the front desk from the airport to the hotel and they called Uber, which was very convenient.

The hotel is less than 10 minutes' drive from the airport and up to 15 minutes' drive from the city center. It is quiet and clean. The front desk staff are all polite and responsible. The room has an induction cooker, microwave, refrigerator and dishes. You can make your own food next time. I will choose this hotel again when I go to Salt Lake City.

Because I have to fly at the airport, I chose to spend one night. The price is relatively expensive, but there is a shuttle bus. It will be there after a while. It is at the B3 platform, but the drop-off bus is every half an hour. You need to wait. Remember to time it well.

The room has a kitchen, a refrigerator, a microwave, and a foreign induction cooker, which is equivalent to a domestic gas stove. It is very easy to cook. It has a dishwasher, dishwashing liquid, dishwashing liquid, dishes, cutlery, and pots. It is only a short distance from Salt Lake City. The airport is 5 kilometers away, and the hotel has a shuttle bus. It takes a 15-minute taxi ride from the Chinese supermarket and costs 13 US dollars. Distance from the world's first KFC 13 US dollars taxi. There are also large desks and lounge chairs in the room. The hotel has a laundry room, if you don't mind washing and drying quickly. Give good reviews.

Flight delayed back to Great Britain, Delta sent us here for the night. Plus side friendly staff and a free shuttle bus. Unfortunately more negatives. Hotel in need of a major update. Carpets in hall ways frayed and dirty. Room wasn’t very clean, like the rest of hotel needed a full re decoration. Arrived in room to find toilet had faeces in, probably because it didn’t flush very well. Should have been checked and repaired before next guest. Bed linen was clean but very worn. Very noisy, I’ve stayed in plenty of airport hotels and never been in one that you could hear the planes so loud, also train near by and sounded like someone doing “ doughnuts” at 1 in the morning outside. The area that the hotel was in didn’t seem very safe, homeless and drug users walking around. One woman in the hotel was walking down corridor with a syringe in her hand!!! No breakfast available and no restaurants near. Had to catch tram into Salt Lake City to get breakfast as flight home wasn’t till 17.00. I have emailed Delta to complain and said in my opinion this hotel is not suitable for them to use.
Response from Property: Kate, thank you for sharing your experience. The team appreciates your acknowledgment of their friendliness and the convenience of the shuttle service. Rest assured, the feedback regarding the condition of the property and your concerns about safety will be shared with the appropriate departments. The team will continue to strive for a secure and comfortable environment for all guests.

My husband and I stayed here in Sept 2024 for two nights and were satisfied with the hotel. From beginning to end, the staff was excellent - each staff member we interacted with was courteous, helpful, cheerful, and took extra steps to ensure our stay was pleasant. The room was clean and spacious, likely because they have a queen bed rather than a king, which we liked. The bathroom toiletries are Sonesta brand (shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap); there was no body or hand lotion. Since we were only staying two nights, we said no housekeeping service was needed if they could provide extra bath towels, which they did immediately. The shower had plenty of hot water and good water pressure, with a massage option that came in handy when rinsing my long hair. There is a small sundries area across from the front desk which includes a freezer for frozen goods. A few doors down the hall is the laundry room where you can find a cold case which is stocked with beverages (juices, energy drinks, etc.) You bring your items to the front counter and pay the front desk staff. If you want alcohol for your room, the nearest DABS state liquor store is at 1255 W North Temple St, 1.5 miles away. In the late afternoon, the staff makes fresh hot popcorn with butter and flavored powders available, and also sets out a variety of candies which are free for guests. This was an unexpected and nice touch. The room and hotel in general need updating, which appears to be in the beginning stages (while we were there, the room door locks were being upgraded). Parking was $5 per day, which was surprising as it’s not in a crowded area with minimal parking like downtown. The hotel offers airport shuttle service, but we were leaving very early so the shuttle was not yet available. However, the staff offered to supply us with an Uber ride to the airport at no charge. Overall, we had a pleasant stay but likely wouldn’t return as we prefer a more updated/refreshed hotel in an area closer to grocery stores/Walmart/food options. However, the staff was excellent and prices very reasonable so I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it…especially if you need a place for longer term as it has a clean laundry room, full kitchen, and gym on-site.
Response from Property: The team at Sonesta Simply Suites Salt Lake City Airport is thrilled you enjoyed your stay with the helpful colleagues and the spacious, clean room. It’s wonderful to hear you appreciated the small, thoughtful touches like the popcorn and candy. The room updates are part of ongoing enhancements. We understand the location preference, but it’s great to know you would recommend us for longer stays. Thank you for sharing your experience.

"When you and your pet check in, we’ll greet you with a PAWS Welcome Letter and complimentary dog treats. Plus, we’ll have your room ready with a water dish, feeding bowl, waterproof mat for use during your stay." That's what Sonesta claims on their Pets Are Welcome at Sonesta page. We arrived early, so we didn't expect they'd have everything ready for our Dachshunds Baylah and Eli. However, they only had one feeding bowl when we asked for them, a water bowl and a mat. The dogs didn't get a welcome letter and there were no dog treats. Out back, where there was a grassy area to relieve themselves, there were two empty rolls of poop bags that were not replenished during our three-day stay. Still, Baylah and Eli had a great time and we did, too. Our room was very clean. And both it and the hallway smelled fresh during our stay. The bed was comfortable and the bathtub was longer than most other places where we've stayed. Even though the hotel seemed full, we did not hear a lot of noise. We never had a problem finding a place to park. The staff was friendly and always greeted us whenever we came in or went out. We've seen photos taken a few years ago, which looked dated. Everything in our room looked modern. We took advantage of the cooktop, refrigerator and freezer and dishwasher. We would stay here again.
Response from Property: Sowellman, it's great to hear that you and your adorable companions, Baylah and Eli, had an enjoyable stay at Sonesta Simply Suites. We're glad to know you felt comfortable and benefitted from our modern amenities. As for the pet amenities, we regret if certain aspects didn't meet your expectations and appreciate you bringing this to our attention. We're thrilled to hear you'd stay with us again and our team members are eager to provide another warm welcome for you and your furry friends. Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. Safe travels until we meet again.
