The breakfast with a view is definitely worth it! The variety suits Chinese palates well, perfect for those heading to the lake district to grab a meal before setting off.
The location is absolutely amazing. You can spot it right after exiting the train station, and the bus terminal is just downstairs, making it convenient to go anywhere. Dining is also easy; the supermarket inside the train station offers freshly sliced ham burgers and other quick meals, which is super handy if you're tired after a trip to the lake district. To the left of the station, Joanna's restaurant serves Austrian cuisine. Next door is a shopping mall with a supermarket and a drugstore, though it opens late and closes early.
Facilities: For a small town, this room is incredibly spacious! The front desk even asked if I wanted my king bed split or combined upon arrival. The beds here are on wheels and adjustable. There's enough space for two large suitcases, plus a wardrobe – quite unexpected!
Service: I absolutely adore the ladies at the front desk! They helped me so much. It was raining heavily when I arrived, and they were patient despite my many questions. Like most hotels, toothbrushes aren't provided by default but can be requested. Only a large bottle of drinking water is offered, but the hotel's water comes from a mountain spring, so you can drink directly from the tap.
