Nice exterior, very poor service not worth the stay Stayed 4 days and 3 nights. The hotel looks nice on the outside, but service quality was extremely disappointing for a so called highly accredited hotel. The location is also inconvenient, with about a 20 minute walk to the bridge. I have no idea whether the Do Not Disturb sign was faulty or not, but regardless, prompt and efficient service should be expected at this level. On my third day, I had to request housekeeping a total of five times before my room was properly made up. The audacity to ask what specific items I want when I request not once but twice for the minibar and water to be refilled for the “ first time “ in the day as they missed my make up room for 3 times ! I went to the lobby personally, called reception multiple times, and still experienced long delays and poor coordination. This should never happen at a hotel in this category. The room did not include a kettle or hot water flask. I was advised by staff to use the Nespresso machine to get hot water for tea, which was unacceptable. The hot water came with coffee residue from previous guests’ capsules, which was utterly unhygienic and disgusting. Most staff were cold and unwelcoming. I also overheard a guest on my first day of check in complaining to the manager about dinner service and the dismissive attitude of a waitress, which unfortunately aligned with my own experience during the stay. Upon my check out this morning at 9am + , there was no one at the three reception counters ! Finally someone came and I asked nicely, could I have a bottle of still water, she told me in a straight face, you can buy it from our restaurant or something similar. Flabbergasted respond to conclude my stay. Inflexible with lack of service attitude. Overall, this hotel feels like a nice outer shell with nothing to fill it. For this category and location, there are many other hotels that provide far better service and basic amenities. Will never ever recommend this hotel and will not be returning.
