Sol Beach Samcheok - Photo Gallery

One of the most beautiful locations in Korea. As a foreign visitor, the most surprising thing was finding that the direct access paths to the beach were locked. The hotel has a beautiful seaside promenade leading straight to the beach, yet it was closed with locked gates. It was the end of May, over 30°C outside, and guests were forced to take a 500-meter detour to reach the shore. That simply didn’t make sense to us. That said, the beach itself is absolutely stunning. Crystal-clear water, white sand, and beautiful pine trees create one of the most breathtaking coastal landscapes we have seen in Korea. We were genuinely blown away by the beauty of the area. The hotel offers good amenities overall. There is no complimentary swimming pool, as access appears to be through Ocean Play and requires an additional fee. Fortunately, with a beach this beautiful, we didn’t miss the pool at all. We enjoyed great food, spent relaxing days by the sea, and had a wonderful stay. Korea is an amazing country, although it can sometimes be surprising because certain things are done according to a different logic than what many international travelers might expect. Overall, a memorable destination and a place we would happily visit again.

The only minor drawback was that direct access to the beach from the water park isn't currently available, but overall, I was quite satisfied. The location is fantastic.

This is a place I sometimes visit with my parents. We always have a great experience here. It's clean, spacious, and excellent. I highly recommend it; even my elderly parents really enjoy their visits.

This place is absolutely perfect for family trips. It's especially great if you're traveling with young children, as the water activities (like the beach and Ocean Play) are directly connected to the accommodation. The ocean view from the room is truly breathtaking!

I was pleased to have booked for less than the official website. The Sol Beach Samcheok Ocean Play was also excellent, and being so close to the sea made it even better.

It was a pity we only stayed for one night, but it was absolutely wonderful! My husband is a complete stickler for cleanliness (he's the type who'd carry his own vacuum!), and even he said this was the cleanest of all the Sono resorts. The night lighting was absolutely stunning, and next time, I'll definitely book for two nights!

good clean and very nice people

I didn't have high expectations when we arrived, but we ended up having a fantastic 2-night, 3-day stay. We had booked a room in the hotel wing, and it was conveniently close to Ocean Play. The facilities were excellent, so we had plenty to keep us entertained without even leaving the hotel. Our room was also clean, and the baby crib and bathtub we requested were provided and very useful.

Direct access to the beach was a definite highlight. However, Ocean Play seemed geared towards very young children, so there wasn't much for us to do there. On the bright side, the view was excellent and the room was clean, which we really appreciated.
