When we got there the valet spent most of his time on his personal phone, didn’t bring us a cart when we started unpacking our car until we asked. When we got to the room it was cold and we were unable to adjust the thermostat, called the front desk and they said they would send someone up, we left, so I don’t know if they did or not, but when we returned the the room was warm, we turned the thermostat down when we went to bed, but woke up during the night burning up, checked the thermostat and it was 82 degrees and we were unable to adjust the temperature lower, so the first night was pretty unpleasant, we called the desk the next morning and they sent someone immediately and they made the repair and the rest of the stay was very pleasant. When we got ready to leave I called the front desk and asked for a bellman and a cart, I was told that they only had one bellman, but I could come to the lobby and get a cart which I did.Overall the the stay was good, just not the service we are accustomed to. Also, I guess the cleaning crew came into the room our second day because the trash was emptied, they took the dirty towels and wash rags, but didn’t leave us any clean wash rags, also didn’t leave us any pods for the coffee maker, so no coffee on the morning we left. Probably find a different place to stay on our next visit to San Antonio.
