Motel 6 San Antonio, TX - Downtown - Market Square

For me it took 3 hours to check. Desk person said hotel doesn't honor bookings from trip app. Had to call trip. She said trip is unreliable and sometimes does not pay hotel.

If you need a budget hotel close to river walk, your better off with red roof inn. This is the worst motel 6 i have ever stayed at.

I like to stay here for tejano explosion. The bed is comfortable and the air conditioner works. It's an older property but it is pretty clean. The lady at the front desk is stern but nice. ;-)

It was so awful and nasty I slept on top of the blankets with my head on a bag not the nasty pillow that wasn't washed.

The staff & owner were excellent! Everyone was very accommodating and ready to help with our needs. There wasn't a refrigerator in the unit as we arrived. I let the manager know my husband was on insulin which had to be refrigerated. She immediately had one brought in for us and a microwave. When we needed the room refreshed, were there 4 days, they took care of it right away. We needed help unloading and loading the car. They graciously helped. We attended an event downtown. They loaned us chairs to take with us. We will definitely stay here again. Thank You for your hospitality!!!

The rooms need upgrades big time, bad tub stain not clean, AC unit was noisy. Hair in the toilet.

Rooms were not clean! Have roaches inside the room, smells like smoking inside the room, light in the restroom not working! Phone not working!

Will the rooms suppose be non-smoking? Smelled, like smoke. It was a little cool on Thursday. The heating unit didn't heat up very well. You got ready to take the shower roaches coming out of the wall in the bathtub The walls had been semi sheetrock, not good, not painting

It was located in the homeless area. The staff wasn't that friendly and the room wasn't clean even when we first checked in.
