HI San Diego Downtown Hostel
"The hotel is conveniently situated in the heart of downtown San Diego, surrounded by numerous bars and restaurants. A nearby bus provides easy access to the airport. The property is well-maintained and offers pleasant amenities, including a pool table and arcade machines. However, one drawback is also its location—it’s right in the lively party area, which can lead to noise at night. If you’re sensitive to noise, you might want to consider an alternative hotel."
Sheraton San Diego Resort
Enjoy seaside tranquility at this harbor hotel, offering stylish maritime-themed rooms, multiple sparkling pools, and waterfront dining.
Omni San Diego Hotel
"It is connected to Petco Park and is within a 5-minute walk of the Convention Center. The hotel is close to Gaslamp Street, so it is convenient to get to restaurants."
Days Inn by Wyndham San Diego Hotel Circle
Rest close to SeaWorld at this accessible valley stopover, offering a casual swimming pool, relaxing spa tub, and central location.
Super 8 by Wyndham San Diego Hotel Circle
"Worked well for my trip. Not far from any of the activities I utilized while there."
Hilton San Diego Gaslamp Quarter
"Booked for someone else, no complaints!"
Sycuan Casino Resort
"The room was ckean and everything was organized. On the downside the noise levels are too high. You can hear your neighbor through the walls. There was no coffee maker in the room or microwave."
Hyatt Vacation Club at the Welk, San Diego
"Room needs attention. More than one non working outlet in the bedroom. Both televisions remotes were difficult to use. Couldn’t turn on tv or change channels. Outside our front door the drain was constantly making noise and took maintenance crews over 24 to get it figured out. Not worth the money to stay here. Very disappointed. Won’t be coming back anytime soon."
Holiday Inn Express San Diego Downtown by IHG
"good price and location very silent"

Best Western Premier Hotel Del Mar
"Location was perfect - not too far from downtown and just a few minutes drive away from the beach, Walmart, CVS, etc. There were plenty of restaurants within walking distance too. The room was spacious and clean for the most part, but we did keep finding spiders across the floor even though we never opened the balcony doors. Kitchenette was great and had everything you'd need for a longer stay. The bathroom was clean and everything worked as it should. The hotel had a washing machine / dryer service in a separate 'building' in the car park, which cost about $2 for every use of the washing/drying machines. The machines are fairly large, so I only needed to use one load in my entire stay. The walls are VERY thin though. We could hear the next door neighbors just casually talking and it was worse when the TV was on. The drinks at reception are extortionately priced, $5 (before tax) for a regular sized Sprite or Coca Cola bottle, which is just ridiculous and inconvenient when all the neighboring department stores are closed. They let us check out at around 1pm instead of 11am which was nice. Room service was also great."
Hilton San Diego Bayfront
"the hotel is really cool and I like the swimming pool very much"
Rambler Motel
"Excellent place. Very friendly."
Marriott Vacation Club, San Diego
"Very clean suite with kitchen, and all necessary appliances. Front desk is very nice and helpful. Garage entrance is a bit tight, just need to go slow. Highly recommended for family staying"
InterContinental Hotels SAN DIEGO by IHG
"The same as in North American hotels, there is no toothpaste, toothbrush, slippers and bathrobe. This hotel doesn't even have soap. Because I stayed for 3 consecutive nights, I had to wash my children's socks and shorts. There was no soap, so I had to use hand sanitizer. There is no water boiler in the room, but there is a coffee machine. The hotel's swimming pool is useless, open at sunrise and closed at sunset. This is very unfriendly to tourists. Parking at the hotel is charged, $50 per night. There is a Starbucks downstairs. The hotel is facing the sea and the scenery is okay. It's okay to bring older children, but don't choose this hotel for younger children. Very inconvenient. The hotel is about 45 minutes' drive from Legoland and about 15 minutes from Sea World."
The US Grant, a Luxury Collection Hotel, San Diego
"The hotel is great and the location is great, but the experience of ordering food in the restaurant is not very good and I keep making mistakes."
The Lodge at Torrey Pines
"They firstly gave us the wrong type of room, then I argued with them and they found out they did give us the wrong room and apologize to us. They said they will give us 50 percent discount for the mistake but we didn’t receive this discount back."
Pendry San Diego
"Stayed for 4 days and overall I am very satisfied. First of all, the location is very close to the San Diego Convention and Exhibition Center next to it. You can also go directly to the Convention and Exhibition Center from the first floor, which takes 7 minutes; The second is the environment, with sea view, there are two swimming pools on the first floor; from the first floor, it is about two kilometers of citywalk, and you can walk along the seaside to the Victory Kiss sign check-in place The hotel's sanitation/facilities and services are quite good, and there is a Chinese-speaking front desk reception. The only downside: the price is expensive"
Handlery Hotel San Diego
"I tried canceling my room because my daughter's plan changed. She was going into bootcamp and having a hard time. I understand their cancellation policy I just thought they would take into consideration the reason as to why I had to cancel. If not a full refund maybe a partial."
The Atwood Hotel San Diego - SeaWorld/Zoo
"The hotel is in a very good location. 🛏️ It is very high. The bathtub has great water power."
The Westgate Hotel
"Very good, stayed for three nights, the room is big and the bed is soft and comfortable,"
Hard Rock Hotel San Diego
"Very good, very convenient location. There is also a delicious restaurant downstairs. It is also close to the beach."
California Suites Hotel
A budget-friendly hotel offering a relaxing spa tub and soothing amenities designed to help you unwind after a busy day.
Legacy Resort Hotel & Spa
"Everything is pretty good, except that parking needs to be paid separately, and breakfast is ordered"
Holiday Inn Express & Suites SAN DIEGO-SORRENTO VALLEY by IHG
"The hotel is located very close to UCSD and there is plenty to eat nearby. Room was very clean. The front desk was happy to change our room from a double to a single king to accommodate for our young child."
Quiet Mind Mountain Lodge, Retreat & Spa
"This was the perfect place for resting and relaxing and getting away from all of the stress of every day lift. The food was delicious and healthy. The room was clean and had a great view of the mountains and lake. If you’re looking to stay off the grid for inner healing, this is the perfect place. I am definitely going for another visit."
