Wyndham San Diego Bayside

The room overlooked the bay, offering a beautiful view. The balcony was very practical, perfect for enjoying the evening breeze and convenient for drying clothes. What really stood out was the early check-in option. We arrived at 1 PM, expecting to just drop off our luggage, but to our pleasant surprise, the front desk gave us our room key immediately – a service we haven't experienced in other hotels in the US. The airport shuttle was also very convenient. And of course, the hotel's location speaks for itself. The picture is a night view taken from the room's balcony.

Quiet, clean, and conveniently located. The surrounding area is great for an early morning stroll by the sea to get some fresh air. There are many attractions nearby like Gipbe, the pier, sailboats, and the aircraft carrier museum. Plenty of dining options too.

The hotel boasts an excellent central location, making it convenient for accessing various attractions and very close to the airport. The room facilities were generally fine; it wasn't as old and dilapidated as some reviews suggested. Most guests who aren't overly particular should find it acceptable. There were some homeless people on the surrounding streets, but not many, and it felt relatively safe.

The hotel is too old overall. The showerhead in my room was a mess, and for two nights, there was almost no hot water when I returned. It was only after I complained that someone came to fix it. Low-grade, bad review!

The hotel is quite close to the airport, less than a 10-minute drive. Its location is excellent; the USS Midway Museum is directly across the street, and a few minutes' walk further brings you to the 'Kissing Sailor' statue. The hotel also has balconies with a nice view. There's a good Thai restaurant nearby. I'd definitely stay here again next time.

Right by the harbor, it's super convenient for visiting the USS Midway Museum. The only downside is that it's too close to the airport, so it gets really noisy at night!
