Boasting a prime location in the heart of the busy city centre, this hostel offers outstanding convenience for visitors. Stepping outside the building, guests will find bars and local venues within walking distance. Security measures including strict curfew and door‑access systems are well‑implemented, contributing to a reassuringly safe environment for all guests. The front‑desk team performs their duties diligently and is willing to supply useful local tips and necessary support. Complete with a well‑furnished shared kitchen for self‑catering, the hostel also features inviting common areas where guests can unwind, chat or spend free time. The sleeping quarters are roomy, and the beds deliver a good night’s rest. On the whole, it is a commendable hostel with great value.

The location was great! In my opinion not enough bathrooms. It was fine, but I would probably choose something better for this price.

Nice ppl and clean, safe environment

Great, I really like it.

The hotel is conveniently situated in the heart of downtown San Diego, surrounded by numerous bars and restaurants. A nearby bus provides easy access to the airport. The property is well-maintained and offers pleasant amenities, including a pool table and arcade machines. However, one drawback is also its location—it’s right in the lively party area, which can lead to noise at night. If you’re sensitive to noise, you might want to consider an alternative hotel.

Everything is perfect and people are nice there

It's cost-effective, hostel and neat. The location is also good.

The property is surrounded by bars and restaurants, and has plenty of bathrooms and a huge common room with a pool table and kitchen. However, guests are not allowed in the rooms.

Everything was broken...everything was broken...the room smelled terrible...I emailed the hotel during my stay, but they completely ignored me and didn't reply! So arrogant and unprofessional, they shouldn't do business with us!

The beds were clean and tidy, the neighborhood was bustling, convenient and safe, the common areas were also very comfortable, and the front desk staff were very welcoming. The only downsides were that the air conditioning was a bit cold and a little noisy, so it might be helpful to bring earplugs.

Considering the prices of hotels in San Diego, this is a good option. It's located in the city center, making it easy to get anywhere. Basically, you can walk to almost anywhere.

The facilities are pretty good, as are my roommates. It might be a bit noisy at night because it's on a street; but overall it's a very good experience. The staff are also very nice, and it's good value for money.
