Holiday Inn SAN FRANCISCO-GOLDEN GATEWAY by IHG with No Resort Fee

Service was good. Breakfast was the best of 4 hotels we stayed in California. On the 3rd day, we went to the restaurant for breakfast but was told that someone had already used my name to enter but was still allowed to have our breakfast anyway. Hotel staff need to check properly to avoid inconvenience in future. Room was clean and bed was comfy. The only negative side is the aircon/heater was blowing a very bad smell of air and too dusty. Its very obvious that the unit was not serviced for a long time. Location was superb, walking distance to union square if you like to walk.

I had a comfortable stay but I think the hotel itself was pretty average. They don't give you a lot of stuff. Probably what someone would expect of a Holiday Inn tbh. Wasn't a bad stay for a pricey city like San Francisco.

The Best smelling room I’ve ever stayed in. The housekeeping kept our room clean and smelling good. The hotel is convenient to the cable cars and muni. We would stay there again.

Excellent hotel in a great location with friendly staff. It’s my second time here for a longer stay than previously and I will definitely return again!
