Holiday Inn is always a reliable choice! 👍 The hotel's location is excellent, in one of San Francisco's safer areas. It's also quite close to Chinatown and the Financial District, with convenient public transport access and plenty of supermarkets and pharmacies downstairs. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, the front desk service is attentive, and there's even a gym and pool with no resort fee.

We chose the Holiday Inn San Francisco-Golden Gateway primarily for its location, and it did not disappoint! The hotel is situated very conveniently right near the starting point of the cable car, which made getting around San Francisco incredibly easy and fun. The hotel itself was clean, and the staff were generally helpful. The only notable drawback was the breakfast. While adequate, the menu was the same every single day throughout our stay. If you plan on having breakfast at the hotel for multiple mornings, be prepared for limited variety. Overall: Highly recommended for travelers who prioritize location and transportation access. If varied breakfast options are essential, you might want to consider dining out nearby.

Pros-Hotel was clean, staff were pleasant, and the parking price of $49 per night was better than many hotels. Cons-Ordered a roll-away for one night and it wasn't in the room when we returned. Called the front desk and was told that they didn't have room for it. In all fairness, they offered us access to a double room, but it was too late and too much of a hassle to change. Very inconvenient in any event.

The room view is great, and the location is convenient. It's close to the main road, making it easy to get here by taxi from the airport. It's also super close to the tram. The only downside is that breakfast isn't included in the price, which is a bit disappointing.
