Lamento dar una reseña negativa, realmente nunca me gusta hacerlo, pero cuando es justo es justo.
Reservé y pagué por una habitación deluxe con una cama king. Necesitaba y deseaba comodidad después de un viaje muy largo y con un Jet lag espantoso. Me dieron una habitación normal con una cama doble que nos hizo el descanso imposible. Al hacer el reclamo me dijeron que el hotel no ofrecía las habitaciones deluxe a través de plataformas de terceros...entonces...cómo lo hice? No me ofrecieron ninguna solución y tuve que pasar 3 noches en un tipo de habitación diferente a por la que creí haber pagado.
2 cosas más que no me gustaron: el olor general del hotel (para mí olía a p1s, pero puede ser muy subjetivo). El olor era muy incómodo para mí.
La segunda cosa fue el aire acondicionado. Muy ruidoso toda la noche, a pesar de haberlo hasta apagado (no entiendo cómo).
Las instalaciones se sienten muy viejas, lo que (junto al olor) aumenta la percepción de suciedad.
El personal fue muy amable, no puedo negar esto.
Siento mucho dar esta evaluación pero es la realidad de lo que viví.

Located near Powell St Bart station and Cable car. Room is clean and the size is ok for solo. Provided all the necessary amenities like hair dryer, digital safe and etc. The gym room is at the 2nd floor where you can refill your water.

Great location a few steps away from Union Square. Very ideal starting point to get around from, near the BART, and at the center of SFO shopping.

Since San Francisco is known as one of the most expensive city in USA, I didn't expect that much with The Barnes. Though, staffs were really friendly and the room was kinda big but the bathroom was small.
I spent four nights with The Barnes, I don't like from this place is water pressure is so low. It was hard for me to take a shower.
