BEI San Francisco, Trademark Collection by Wyndham

We booked two rooms and stayed for two days. On the second day, around 8:40 AM, a staff member opened one of our rooms with a key card without our permission. We were still sleeping at the time, but thankfully the safety chain prevented her from entering directly. We found this to be an extremely unsettling and unsafe incident. I can't imagine what would have happened if the safety chain hadn't been engaged, with two women sleeping and a male staff member attempting to enter. The staff member also failed to provide a reasonable explanation. I don't believe any hotel in any country has a policy that allows staff to arbitrarily open a guest's room in the morning. This is absolutely outrageous.

The hygiene of the hotel's bed sheets, duvet covers, pillows, and towels was very poor. There were many spots, stains, and they looked old. Even after asking the hotel to change the sheets and pillowcases, they still had stains and dust. The gym smelled of old, sweaty towels and dust. The view was good, overlooking the church and mountains. It's very close to the BART and Muni subway stations, and also near City Hall and the Asian Art Museum. The facilities were old. The air conditioning was very noisy, making it difficult to sleep at night when it was on, but it was cold when turned off. There's a terrace and a gym on the fourth floor.

The hotel parking felt really secure, which was a huge relief since I'd been worried about parking in San Francisco for a while. Everything else was pretty good too.

Really great! Parking was convenient and free, and the room was big and clean. Very good, very good. Plus, there's a water dispenser, coffee maker, and all the necessary appliances.

Pleasant hotel, but the booking conditions are very strict. I couldn't pay the deposit at check-in because I didn't have a card. I almost had to find another hotel late at night.
