I came for the Hilton brand, but I was so surprised! See pictures and videos for proof! From the window, I could see the backyard, where the restaurant's exhaust vent was located downstairs. If I opened the window, I'd get the smell of cooking oil. The room itself was old and run-down. Breakfast was very casual; the older Mexican staff were handling both raw and cooked food directly with their bare hands. The congee had black spots, and some of the vegetables were burnt but still served... While you're eating breakfast, two Asian old male waiters are just strolling around the dining area... The housekeeping staff were noisy in the hallway... I will never come back here again!

An average hotel, the room wasn't too big, but the bedding was comfortable. The price wasn't particularly competitive though.

Hands down the worst hotel I've ever stayed at. My passport, which was in a black plastic bag, was thrown away by the cleaning staff, mistaken for trash. After I explained the situation, the manager said there was nothing they could do to recover it. I was in a rush at the time and didn't claim any compensation (though the manager had offered to let me make a request). Afterward, the hotel completely denied the incident and refused to discuss it further. Even after calling the police, they stated that due to local laws, it would be very difficult to resolve.

I've stayed here many times. The soundproofing in the rooms is just okay, and some of the front desk staff can be quite rude, while others are fine. The cleanliness is so-so, and the room facilities are quite old. Since I travel for business frequently in this area, I'm often forced to choose this hotel. One frustrating issue is that the deposit is sometimes inexplicably overcharged or not refunded at all. I'm currently emailing the hotel back and forth about it; many times they haven't refunded my deposit after I've checked out. (The photos are not of this hotel)

Great location, food options galore. Close enough to DTLA but far enough removed to avoid the traffic.

Great location and food options nearby, but security needs improvement The location was one of the highlights of our stay. The hotel is close to Chinatown and surrounded by many Chinese restaurants, bubble tea shops, and Asian food options. There were plenty of dining choices within walking distance, including a Sichuan-style fish restaurant, which made meals very convenient. The room itself was comfortable, and the staff we interacted with were friendly. However, we noticed a security issue that should be addressed. Anyone can take the elevator to the second floor, where the guest rooms are located. Access to the guest room corridor is supposed to require a key card, but during our stay the access door was not functioning properly. Even without using a key card, the door could simply be pushed open, making the access control system ineffective. This meant that anyone who reached the second floor could potentially enter the guest room area. While nothing happened during our stay, it did make us feel less secure than expected. We also noticed small red marks on one of the towels provided in the room. We could not determine whether it was a stain, discoloration, or something else, but it was noticeable enough that we chose not to use that towel. Overall, the location and nearby food options were excellent, but the security concern was disappointing and should be addressed as a priority. Security is an important factor when choosing accommodation, and I hope the hotel will inspect and repair the access door promptly.
