If you are looking for an authentic true Tuscan experience then there is no other location than Torriccia di Chiusi! From the traditional rooms with Tuscan antiques, the beautiful views of the surrounding countryside and San Gimignano to the outstanding wines and authentic restaurant you will be transformed and restored. The owners and staff especially Maria, really do make you feel like family as soon as you arrive. The location is in a secluded area in the hills near San Gimignano where you can recharge and enjoy the beautiful well maintained grounds and cool off in the picturesque pool. We spent seven days enjoying great wines produced right on the farm by Stefano and elegant evening authentic five course meals lovingly prepared by Bruno outside on the patio as a wonderful Tuscan evening. Maria was so wonderful providing anything and everything we required from even before we arrived and continued throughout our stay. We had a special event one night and had the staff cook up some Tuscan steaks on a special grill that was the best ever. We enjoyed a wine tasting and walking tour of the grounds. Our entire family loved every minute and you will too!

Lovely setting, terrific history, nice breakfast, kind staff. Very difficult to manage without a car to access the surrounding area. Nice hike into San Gimignano.

Cannot say enough about this property, it is amazing. The grounds and surroundings are beautiful. The staff was so helpful and kind. The dinner was amazing, definitely make sure you have dinner here at least one night. The terrace is huge and the room had everything we needed. Great views of the surrounding countryside and of San Giamangiano. Do be careful on your driving directions and pay attention to the signs. Google Maps wants to take you on a route that turns into what is not an actual road, so if you follow it you will end up having to turn around and go back adding about 15 minutes to the drive.

It’s hard to find word to describe the amazing experience we had! Stefano & Donatello and their staff are incredible. Special honours to Maria! The location, the food, the wine, and the magic of Tuscany is to be found here. Can’t recommend enough! Do yourself a favour and make this part of your next adventure. Your soul will thank you!

This place is absolutely amazing! Me and my wife spent 3 nights here in June 2024. Beautiful nature with grapes and olives everywhere, good food, but above all, the atmosphere and staff. Forget about stiff service at a luxury hotel, here you feel like a member of the family! For me this is the true Tuscany! The farm produce their own wine and the wine tasting with the owner Stefano is an absolute must! We will come back for sure! ❤️ // Fredrik and Ulrika
