Our host was awesome! He gave us great ideas for what to see in this region of Tuscany. He was so gracious and concerned about our comfort. He even made homemade focaccia bread for us for our breakfast! The lodging was comfortable and the setting beautiful! We were so happy with our stay and would not hesitate to visit again!

Oh my goodness!!! - if you want to experience true Italian hospitality in an amazing farm house B&B with beautiful views, a short drive to San Gimignano, and the BEST host we have ever met...then Rocca degli Olivi is the place for you. When we arrived Manfredi was waiting for us, greeted us warmly, showed us around his amazing property and then we checked in to our room. The room was perfect, nice cold a/c, clean crisp sheets, remodeled yet still rustic room, beautiful view from the terrace, and very quiet at night. Breakfast was served on the main terrace overlooking the olive trees that give this property its name - and was very delicious and fresh. Manfredi was so helpful with all his directions of where to park as we got to San Gimignano (which kept us out of the dreaded ZTL's) and even gave us a few amazing recommendations when we asked for his advice as to what he would suggest we should experience. We took the Chianti Route on our trip to Rome and WOW! so beautiful! We plan on returning later when the weather is a bit cooler and look forward to staying once again at Rocca degli Olivi!

We spent 2 nights and had a fabulous time. The property and buildings are clean and impeccably well maintained. Very tasteful, with an historic background and feel, yet with modern amenities. The owner Manfredi is the best and now is a newfound friend. He’s there for you as much or as little as you want, and happy to make great suggestions for what to see and do in the area. Others staying there were returning guests, which is telling. Breakfast was very good as well. Gorgeous views across the hillsides and vineyards. We will definitely return.
