Hotel Tropical

We came for a couples holiday with breakfast included. The hotel looks super clean and staff very helpful/friendly. Our shower leaked into our room when being used, had to ask for extra towels to make sure we didn't fill the bathroom with water. Now the food!!! Jesus - I have never eaten food as bad. Even the watermelon was disgusting and the pineapple tasted like dish water. We paid for breakfast for our full stay thinking it would save us some time/money but we ended up eating out each morning. We tried the breakfast on the first morning, meat, fruit, juice etc wasn't pleasant at all and then we tried another morning and just had toast.

The breakfast was limited for vegetarian options. The staff very helpful rooms immaculately clean. No entertainment

When we arrived it was late at night but Manuel was the perfect host and checked us in quickly and efficiently. For a dates hotel it’s absolutely immaculate and I can’t fault anything. Great breakfast options, clean, tidy, refurbished bathrooms, close to everything without being in a noisy spot and every single member of staff we encountered was happy and friendly. If I had to find a negative the only one would be that the walls are a bit thin as you hear a lot from the rooms next to you but that is literally the only thing I can think of.

Couldn't fault anything with this hotel and service. Also cheapest pint we found in Ibiza.. €3.75 a pint.

We have just got back from 5 nights in this hotel - the rooms were basic but spotless - the bathroom was very modern - the hotel rooms have hairdryers and free safety deposit boxes. Lots of choice for breakfast and all of the staff were just lovely - in particular the reception staff and the security guard who were all very helpful and welcoming and couldn’t do enough for you. I would say this isn’t really a hotel for young children and light sleepers as the walls are quite thin and you do hear people coming back from clubbing in the early hours but it wasn’t a problem for us - we could easily get back to sleep. The pool area is lovely and even though there were 11 of us in our group, getting a sun bed wasn’t a problem - the hotel is in a great location with lots of shops and restaurants minutes away - I would definitely return to this hotel and would recommend as it’s a great base to explore the town.

What a fabulous hotel! Stayed for 4 nights, single room upgraded by reception to a double, top floor, huge balcony. Safe and fridge also and air con. Bathroom was clearly newly upgraded very modern with fab shower. Mattress very comfy. Cleanliness was outstanding, not a spec of dust anywhere, cleaners do the best job. This was the same throughout the hotel with the highest standards of cleanliness I’ve ever seen and I’ve stayed in many hotels all over the world. I was booked on breakfast only. The choice was endless. I’m vegetarian so the cooked breakfast wasn’t any use but for meat eaters great. I did have mushrooms & beans on toast, but plenty of other choice such as croissants, breads, cakes, wide choice of fruits, cheeses, boiled eggs. Lovely orange juice and a good instant hot drink machine with a lovely cappuccino. Pool area I went to every morning, plenty of beds and again extremely clean. Very quiet no rowdy groups, chill out music playing was just lovely to chill out after a night on the town. The pool snack bar was good choice, good price. Lovely staff there, I asked the barman if he could muster up a strawberry frappe (not on the menu) and to my joy he did! It was so yummy. Lunch they even tailor made me a pasta dish. Such lovely courteous people. On the subject of staff these wonderful people would put some 5 star hotels to shame. A special thank you to the loveliest lady in reception named Pepita. She helped me with an issue I had and she went out of her way to resolve it. I saw her help several people by going over & beyond what’s expected. Management should know what a gem they have here! As for the security guard that people have bad mouthed, I found him to be a polite man and after all he’s doing his job! I personally prefer to stay in a quiet hotel and this certainly was given the number of young people staying here! The walls are thin and people chatting it can sound quite loud but overall I barely heard a sound. I vacated at 11am and at 4pm used the shower room, again absolutely spotless. I know I’m going on a bit but I’m not one to leave reviews but felt I had to with this outstanding hotel. Great value for money too, so much to say! Oh, also great location, 2 streets from Ibiza rocks, round the corner from The *****, close to everything. Thank you Hotel Tropical I will definitely be back.

Stayed for one night just as a place to crash, room was pretty basic, but comfortably enough. You get what you pay for! The woman on reception was fantastic, extremely accommodating. Would definitely stay again.

Amazing hotel, couldn’t fault this hotel at all. 12 of us stayed here for a hen weekend we arrived very late due to flight delay for 6 hours. Receptionist was fantastic who quickly checked us in before he managed to get a few hours sleep. Perfect location, great rooms and lovely staff. I would 💯 recommend this hotel and I would definitely return.
