My mom and I had such a lovely stay here! It was a relaxing hub for the adventurous activities in San Pedro. The resort itself is very mellow, so I would definitely recommend doing activities during the day rather than just hanging out all day unless you really need some relaxation. The only downside was that we wished the restaurant did local Belizean or Mayan cuisine! The property is absolutely beautiful and the service was 10/10. I'd especially like to shout out the following people and experiences: -Sam, the bar manager, was excellent! In addition to making fantastic cocktails, he always made sure we were taken care of and was fun to talk to. -Kayla at the front desk went above and beyond to make sure we were all set for our tours and that everything was going well with our stay -Amirta and Clarita led an amazing Mayan cooking class! We loved tasting the local flavors and learning about the Mayan history and how their family has been cooking this way for years. -Ben led us through the ATM cave, which is a can't miss experience! His expertise truly shone through and we felt safe and comfortable the whole time - this was my favorite part of our whole trip! -Brandon took us to Tikal and had amazing knowledge of the area. He catered the trip to our interests and desired activity level and it was an awesome tour.

We were pleasantly surprised by this hotel after reading some not very good reviews. The hotel has the most perfect location. The rooms are spotless, spacious and quiet. The air conditioning works perfectly well. The bathrooms are very clean and obviously recently renovated. All blankets, sheets and towels smelled fresh and were changed daily by request. There was coffee and fresh fruit every morning in the lobby. The staff was wonderful, helpful and friendly. The only downside was the absence of closets, but there was a rack with hangers and several big shelves, so we didn't miss the closet space much. The hotel offered very good service but didn't break the bank. We will definitely recommend this hotel!

The location is in the heart of the town, with shops, restaurants and the farmers market all right there. It is bustling and a bit noisy, but that was fine with us. The room was decent, but the mattress was tired, and no shower curtain resulted in an unnecessarily wet bathroom floor. The price and location made up for those negatives, and joining excursions from here was easy and convenient. Good value for the price, as long as you are realistic about charming old hotels.
