We brought our team down south for the first time, and Palm Beach Resort in Batangas did not disappoint. From the moment we arrived, the warmth of the staff set the tone — reception, housekeeping, even the engineering team who promptly addressed a safety concern without any fuss. That kind of attentiveness across all departments is rare and worth calling out. The beach itself is more rocky than sandy, but don’t let that deter you. What it lacks in fine sand it more than makes up for in character — the water is clear, the atmosphere is relaxed, and there’s plenty to keep a group busy. Kayaks and other non-motorized water equipment were available at no extra charge, and the basketball and pickleball courts were a hit with the more competitive members of our group. The food was the real standout. Everything was sumptuously prepared — generous, flavorful, and clearly made with care. It felt less like resort catering and more like someone actually cooked for you. The highlight of the trip, though, was the movie night set up right by the beach — complete with free popcorn and drinks. Simple, but absolutely memorable. It’s the kind of touch that turns a good outing into a great one. We will definitely be back. Highly recommend Palm Beach Resort for team offsites, family trips, or anyone looking for a warm, well-run escape south of Manila.
