It was a bit cold when we arrived at night. There was an old-fashioned fireplace in the room, but it was useless. Mainly, it wasn't that cold yet. The hotel room faced the Pacific Ocean, and the scenery the next morning was beautiful. Very close to Herts Castle and the place to see elephant seals.

The room is a bit old, but the staff who received the check-in were very friendly. The scenery and location of the hotel are very good. There is a walrus beach 10 minutes away by car, where you can see a large walrus.

Pricy. Right on the ocean and extremely close to Hearst Castle. Non-stop fabulous wave sound. Slightly dated but clean and very well maintained. Wood stove in room, well stocked with fire logs. Keurig coffee.

I love everything bout it. As much as I love the fireplace, i disliked that the whole night smells like burning woods. Maybe I am just not familiar with burning fireplace in the same room. Other than that, I enjoyed my stay. Ocean front

One of the best hotel experiences I have had regarding accessibility. The room was exactly as I expected. The grounds are nice and the amenities are excellent. It’s an older hotel but very nicely kept.
