Bahia Principe Fantasia Tenerife - All Inclusive

You must choose this hotel if you want being bugged My husband and I stayed at the hotel for 2 nights. As there is a connection door inside the room, the sound proof is really really bad, we can clearly hear the conversation from the adjacent room. The family who lived adjacent slept late and got up very early, the child kept shouting and this woke me and my husband up. After that, we reached the reception and requested to have a room change, but the female reception staff refused. She said there was no other available rooms with the same price, she said we needed to PAY BY OURSELVES to upgrade another room style. I said it is not acceptable because it is your hotel's problem, if the hotel has a good sound proof wall, we would not hear sound from the adjacent room, but the female staff insisted this was the customer’ problem, not the hotel's problem and would not change any room for us. And at last she proposed to change our room with an upgrade fee €80. It is so radicular that the staff refused to give any help to us and just only asked us to pay more. As a result, we were woken up by the adjacent sound at 7:12am on the first day and 6:49am on the second day , the adults kept talking, the child kept shouting and running, and we could not sleep anymore. It was a very bad experience and we are very disappointed. We recommend everyone NOT to choose this hotel.

Just home after 11 nights here and we’ve had the most amazing stay. This hotel was incredible, the food and cocktails were delicious there’s something for everyone, The entertainment was phenomenal and non stop we loved all the shows and the drago show and the full moon party, all the staff were very friendly with the kids. My partner loved water polo every day. Mosalah was my son’s favourite entertainer and he was great with the kids. The only negative is we got professional photos taken and one photographer In paticular was very rude and was rolling his eyes when we were looking to see our photos and was snappy that we asked to see them all but we didn’t ask for 200 photos to be taken. The rest of the photographers were very nice and helpful . He really let them down. If I could ask for anything else to be included would be more nibbly bits like crisps, peanuts & icepops as apart from desserts or dinner there wasn’t much to pick at in between crisps would of been a nice addition. And not every child can eat the ice cream pops so icepops would have been nice. Everything was fantastic we’ve had a holiday off a lifetime we didn’t even want to leave the hotel for excursions we can’t wait to return,

We stayed as a family of 4 for 5 nights which we were entitled to 2 a la carte meals and 1 show. Check in was really easy and I did this on the app before we arrived, it doesn’t register children over 12 as they class this as an adult so I was advised to input the date of birth for my 15 year old son as a younger person to enable us to use the app and book restaurants ect? They then changed this back at check in. The room wasn’t ready when we arrived and we were told we would get a call when it was, which was fine, we were given our wristbands which was also the room key. We were told that the wristbands weren’t working so we were given key cards instead. The hotel is very clean and the staff are all really helpful and friendly. The room itself was really spacious we had a family suite which had a divide to separate the children’s sleeping area. One thing I wouldn’t advise at all is to come to this hotel if you are a couple, the hotel is absolutely full of young children. There’s plenty of facilities for all ages of children and the entertainers work hard, there’s lots of activities on each day. Breakfast is like a crèche on steroids, it’s so so loud and I saw flies on the food everyday. There’s a good choice of the usual buffet but the quality is very mediocre. Lunch is either the buffet or the dreams restaurant where you order on the screen, the choice here are burgers hot dogs and sides. We ate at Ladon which is the steak it was awful we couldn’t cut through the steaks and the burger was really greasy we all left our meals that evening, we also ate at the Italian which was nice. Children can make their own pizzas here, I ordered risotto which was so salty I left it. We ate out twice in las americas and San Blas which is a lovely little village just €5 in a taxi and lots of choice. Taxis are really quick and reliable just ask at reception and within minutes the taxi arrives. The pool areas are kept clean on one occasion I heard a young boy tell his mum he needed a wee and she told him to go in the pool I was in disbelief! Inflatables aren’t allowed In the pools. The pool bars are self service and the castle bar do the cocktails ect. The swim up Rooms look nice but these are adult only. The adult only pool looks out to the sea and has a bar there. Evening entertainment is on the main terrace upstairs or in the theatre the show we saw was the carnival which was good. The sports bar also showed football and had 2 pool tables. There isn’t very much in the area San Blas is lovely but there isn’t a beach near the hotel. Las Américas is around €30 each way as is los Christianos. Our room key stopped working on 3 occasions and if like us your room is located at the far end this was a real nuisance to get fixed. On one evening we returned to our room and there weren’t any towels this was quickly rectified but still a phone call had to be made. We did have a good time but the quality of the food and small details really let it down. The

Have just had a week’s holiday here. What an amazing hotel! The entertainment is wonderful, the food is outstanding and the staff can’t do enough for you! The restaurant’s are second to none and cater for everyone. The rooms are clean and modern. The pools are lovely and the staff work so hard keeping everything clean. I cannot recommend this hotel enough. But my favourite part is the castle! What a beautiful sight every night and so magical! We will definitely be returning

We went as two families of 4. Overall we had a great stay and a fun holiday. The rooms were very clean, spacious and comfortable. We always found the food to be good with ample choice. We were down about 7am most days to get a sun bed, but I must admit many had already been taken at that time. The disappointments really were that when you pay for a 5* establishment you expect it to be 5* throughout. Things like broken tiles, unclean/broken parts at the splash park etc aren’t what you expect. The biggest let down was the restaurants though, the staff were working very hard but there isn’t enough of them so many times we had to continually ask for people to come and take drinks orders or bring missing cutlery etc. Again not quite a 5* experience. I’m not against returning but we’ve been many other places for similar price that I think probably edge the Fantasia.

It seems like a joke that this hotel can be considered a 5 star hotel. My wife booked this hotel to enjoy a wonderful week with our family but she was completely wrong. When we went to check in at the reception we already realised that something was not right. The rude and ill-mannered attitude of the receptionist made us seriously think about leaving the hotel and looking for another accommodation but we did not want to lose the money we had paid for the reservation and for that reason we stayed. It was a week to forget in an all-inclusive hotel that should at most have 3 stars. I would like to think that the owners are not aware of the poor management they are carrying out because otherwise they would not continue operating for another day. The restaurants are short of staff and you have to wait a long time to be served. There are a lot of products that are not included in the all-inclusive which is a real rip-off for a 5 star hotel.

We’ve seen mixed reviews both good & bad with emphasis on slippery poolsides & poor service. We didn’t experience any poor service & the poolside is like any other poolside, wet & can be slippery. Our children only slipped once & that’s because she decided to run! The service from the moment we walked in was fantastic. The Bellhop was amazing while taking our bags to our room. He explained the layout, the different pools, where the entertainment was & the evening shows. The room was very clean, fresh & spacious. The room has a very small refrigerator with bottled water, soft drinks & snacks which was replenished daily. The Air Con worked well & we didn’t experience any noise during our stay. The food was better than we expected with a large array of dishes which were fresh & replenished quickly. As this is a buffet, yes it can be very repetitive if you pile every type of dish onto your plate every night. We chose a different area each night & as they rotate the choices on different evenings, we thought their choices were great. The waiting staff were extremely polite & patient when we witnessed someone complaining that their table was wobbly!! Yes the area can be a little noisy, but that’s to be expected when you have an area filled with families. The staff around the poolside deserve a great shoutout as they were fantastic with cleaning away those lazy peoples plates & plastic cups. It takes 60secs to walk to one of the many stands to leave your dirty plates! They were also fantastic when we were looking for a parasol for shade. They found one that was free & bought it over with the very heavy base. The drink staff were a little quiet & not so friendly near the adult pool during our stay but hey, we received our drinks quickly & we weren’t there to make friends with them. The adult pool is great place if your children into the amazing day care & you want some peace & quiet. The staff there was fantastic & extremely friendly towards both parent & child. I would highly recommend this resort, so much so that we visited in April with our two daughters & we have just booked to go again this July.

Honestly a great hotel. If your wanting your moneys worth in all inclusive this is the place. Drinks options incredible with majority of popular cocktails available on all inclusive. We only paid for a Baraquitto, as you can’t go to Tenerife without one!! It was 3.50€ each and went onto our room tab - which is excellent, but also the option to change liquor to make it all inclusive! We stayed for 11 nights and buffet provided with different food items every evening along with staples. Snack bar was well ran and always stocked with plenty of salads, fruits and hot food was delicious (especially the cheesebites). Mini fridge in room provided with fresh cans of juice, water and fruit juices for the kids, complimentary and restocked every day! Entertainment is incredible - kids activities all day, and I mean all day with a range of activities and evening shows WOW!! I have never been to a hotel with such professional entertainment from lights, costumes and the performers. Only downfall is there isn’t much to do in close proximity to the hotel. All big sightseeing/family adventures are a minimum 15 mins in a taxi.
