Micro Hotel Rio de Piedras

All of the employees were very nice. The building is very secure, you have to buzz to be let in. There were a small selection of snacks and drinks for sale next to the counter and there's a Pronto Minix just around the corner (a bodega/convenience store). There isn't an elevator but they will help with your luggage if you need it. When I got to my room I noticed that the windows weren't locked, and there was no hair dryer or iron. I felt like the locks on the door needed to be stronger. There wasn't a DND sign to hang on the door and they turn the A/C off when they clean the room. The walls are paper thin so you can hear everything downstairs at reception and in the hallway outside the room. Make sure to take a picture of the wifi password at the front desk. The hotel is walking distance to restaurants and coffee shops, and felt safe at night. Let me be clear though, there wasn't anything wrong with this hotel, it's a basic accommodation in a pretty safe area. As long as you go into it knowing that, you'll have a good stay.

Great budget "micro" hotel. Pros: 1 - Great location, the neighborhood is relatively safe compared to other parts of the city (please bare in mind we are talking about Honduras). 2 - While I was here the hotel was going over renovations for the parking. Currently, they can offer 3 inside spots for parking your car after these are full you can park outside their premises. The hotel has a guard looking over the parked cars during the night. 3 - Cleanliness is good but not perfect. The cleaning personnel would dutifully change my bed sheets daily and clean the bathroom. Rooms were clean and nice; however, they had towel hangers in need of repair and such. 4 - They have a small kitchen and a small dining area with a 3 dishes menu for breakfast. I did not see food being offered for lunch or dinner. The meals were good enough to calm your appetite. Do not expect 5 course meals. 5 - The staff was courteous and very friendly. Cons: 1 - Due to the renovation, there was noise and I was set up in a room next to a construction project. Dust from their cement and related items would come into my room. That being said I was relocated to a nicer room. 2 - If you rent their smaller rooms, literally expect, a small room. 3 - TV's sets were nice but I was not able to see any local broadcasters. YouTube, and related streaming services available for you. Overall: for the price and compared to the surrounding offers, I would come back to stay here. Albeit, I would check for any renovations

Will always come back! My third time there, usually in transit and stay 2-3 days each time. They are always friendly and helpful.

not a good place to stay wouldn't recommend to any body advice property to clean better all around the area looks like abandoned property

Cleanup / breakfast, everyday the same..

The hotel staff was very welcoming and helpful. The breakfast was delicious
