The resort was very large and located quite far from the city, which was exactly what I wanted for a quiet 3-day relaxation stay.
However, the mosquito situation was a serious issue. There were a lot of mosquitoes around the ponds with stagnant water in a lot of areas, and also in my first assigned room. I was bitten multiple times within minutes of entering. It felt uncomfortable and not well controlled for a property of this size. This was the main negative point of my stay.
I raised the issue with the staff, and to their credit, the manager was very kind and immediately changed my room to another wing. I also contacted Trip.com, and they responded quickly with support and solutions.
The second room was much better, and the hotel provided mosquito repellent, which helped, but the initial experience was quite disappointing.
Overall, the service recovery was good, but mosquito control needs serious improvement for a stay that is meant to be relaxing
