La Concha Beach
I really loved my stay at Hotel Niza. The hotel is simple but wonderfully located, clean, well renovated, and has lots of charm. The hotel is one of the best placed in San Sebastian, right on the Conxa beach and within walking distance of all central attractions. I booked a sea view room and the views are spectacular and I loved it. One thing to note is that sea view rooms do NOT have air conditioning unlike square facing rooms and even in early June, mine got very hot. The hotel can provide you with a small fan (though I'm glad I asked as noone had mentioned it to me!), and as someone who doesn't use air conditioning at home myself, I was absolutely happy to have the view at the cost of a bit of warmth, but I suspect that many people (not least those visiting from parts of the world where air conditioning is ubiquitous) might prefer to take a room overlooking the back (also pleasant though not as much as sea views in my opinion) particularly in spring and summer months to have a fresher environment. I read lots of reviews complaining about the lift - I found it great myself. It works perfectly well as long as you do what you are told and close all the doors, and it is full of charm (and I was thankful for it given my 6th floor room!) The room was very clean, shower room well renovated, and bed comfortable. In my views, apart from systematically putting fans in sea view rooms, what would improve the rooms further would be a mini fridge (when it's warm it would be nice to be able to keep water cold!) and coffee facilities in the rooms or at least in the reception area. Still, I liked the hotel a lot and will certainly use it again when returning to beautiful Donostia!

The hotel is on the mountainside, it is convenient to arrive by car. You should also drive to the attractions. The general room type has a bad view, so you have to buy the most expensive one. Unfortunately, there is no hint in the description. Breakfast is relatively simple. The seasonal factors of house prices vary greatly by 500-900.

There was a trace of a musty or cigarette smell in the hallway and in the room. October was a hot month and the air conditioning in the room would not go below 19 degrees Celsius and the room did not remain cool enough. I called the front desk and they told me is that the air conditioning reached its maximum capacity. The beds had wheels on them that if you leaned against the headboard the bed would roll away. This hotel needs to overlook their quality measures and I would expect a little more from a four star hotel. The old town is a far walk from the hotel but you can catch the number 5 bus to get you there.

The place from the entrance is spectacular, and cozy, and with excellent service, Isi always helped us with recommendations and places to go, just we were at the St. Sebastian party and gave us facilities to enjoy the party, the room has everything, it is beautiful, clean, and very comfortable, breakfast... I have no words to describe how delicious it was all, worthy to star Michelin, recommending the egg with aased coliflor, and the Dutch sauce that make uff, The table (I don't remember your name) always with a very pleasant and beautiful attitude ... Thank you Thank you all the team of Nobu, made my visit to Donostia unforgettable, I will return every one I can without doubt !

Quick Notes: Great Value The beach is a 7-10 minute walk Lots of close restaurants and bars The more quiet side of San Sebastián Outstanding Front Desk What a splendid hotel! I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this NH, which felt like a perfect place to retire for the evening after a long day on the beach. My room was modern and spacious - and the room service was phenomenal. The front desk staff was particularly helpful whenever I had questions or needed help with something. This NH might also have one of best burgers in Spain. The restaurant downstairs was also phenomenal, and the cocktails were on point.

This hotel is located in a quiet middle-upper class neighbourhood that is about 30 minutes walk (it’s really easy to walk) from the beach and city centre. Hotel staff speak good English and overall service level was high. Hotel room looks modern and clean. The balcony is lovely! (book a room with balcony!). Bed is also large and comfortable with plenty of amenities in-room. They also have English TV channels which was very much appreciated! Excellent. A sleeper hit!
