Because the hotels in San Sebastian were insanely expensive (why?), we opted for a cheaper alternative: this guest house. The location is right in the middle of the busy entertainment district, which can be quite noisy till the middle of the night. Fortunately, the windows are reasonably insulated, and because of the ‘noise’ of the fan, there is no air conditioning, you don't hear too much from the nightlife crowd. Second night we slept with the window open because of the heat (you quickly get used to the noise; or it was because of the GTs). We had room 2, small but functional, near the main door, which locks with a loud bang when entering and exiting (depends on the guests!). There were 3 bathrooms which were clean and tidy. For people who are looking for a more quiet place, perhaps not the most ideal location, but an option in terms of price / quality. Hosts are friendly. By the way, 2 days in SS is more than enough.

Buscábamos estar en pleno meollo del Antiguo para disfrutar del ambiente, la gente y la zona sin preocuparnos de desplazarnos y ha sido todo un acierto. Muy cómodo, limpio, económico, o sea, justo lo que buscábamos. Además, está muy bien aislado acústicamente, pues aun estando entre los bares, al cerrar las ventanas apenas se escuchaba nada.
