Strategic location, located in front of Kursaal and the beach of Zurriola; on the coast of the old hill and the beach of the Concha; located in a pedestrian with several gastronomic locations in the surroundings and in a comfortable and pleasant neighborhood to holiday. The hotel is very nice and is very nice and is very nice and very nice. The staff is very friendly and the room is in the right conditions. The bathroom is a little fair but fulfils its function; the pressure of the shower is good. The place was clean, comfortable and quiet. There is a parking front for a daily amount of EUR 24, although you can park perfectly on the public road and not use parking. In the end, apart from the fact that the price-quality relationship is not conditioned, it is a good option for accommodation**** in San Sebastián.

I spent two and a half days and three nights at this establishment. I can’t think of anything else they could have done to make my stay more pleasant. The reception by Paul was wonderful. He was polite, understanding and well explained all the amenities that came with the stay. The studio unit was clean, and well appointed with fresh linen, towels and bottled water. There is no AC which is quite common, but the unit was equipped with two powerful, adjustable fans, and the windows opened slightly for fresh air. The hotel is a 50 yards or so from train tracks serving the local station. Trains run periodically during the day but diminish as the evening approaches. The location is a short walk to Old Town San Sebastián where one can experience plenty of enjoyable night life and the crowds are not a problem, as there are plenty of restaurants and bars. All in all, a nice stay for my first visit to San Sebastián.

It will be in the Gross area, but the location is good as it will be a 10-minute walk to the old town! When I was tired during the bar tour, I was able to go back to the hotel and take a nap. It was cheaper than the hotel in the old town and I eat a lot, so walking there was also an exercise and it was good for me. There were a lot of restaurants and bars around the hotel, and it was busy even at night, so even a woman alone did not have any security concerns. The hotel was large, clean and really easy to spend. Amenity was toothbrush, comb, paper cup, bottle of water only on the first day. The water pressure in the shower is strong, and the wind power of the dryer is strong, so it is quite high. The only negative point is that there is no refrigerator. .. The receptionist at the hotel also felt good and it was a really good stay. It is a very good hotel with a very good cospa. If you come to San Sebastian again, I will take care of you!

Our experience unfortunatly didn’t match the comments we could read on Tripadvisor. First of all the hotel is situated next to train rails. Even with the windows closed you can hear the train and they pass by now and then including early in the morning. If you don‘t like to wake up listening to a train passing by, you may reconsider. Just google-map the hotel and pay attention to how close the rails are… The walls inside are pretty thin too. Being a family with 2 small children we were the ones that sometimes were doing some noise even if we were trying to pay attention to be as quiet as possible. One of the other clients, who complained a bit, qualified them of „paper walls“. Our daughter got sick towards the end of our holidays. We asked for advise at the reception for a pediatrician. We were sent to a place that doesn‘t have a pediatric department, since a while it seems, and doesn‘t take emergencies. It was a nice trip to this „hospital“ with a child who was sick… anyway this can happen… One day our room wasn‘t done, just because we were in the room when they passed and they just pass „once“. No luck… What I couldn‘t tolerate was the situation with the parking… the hôtel has an arrangement with some parking… given that we were staying few days (5 nights) they gave us 2 tickets. One for 3 days and one for 2 days. It seems that a single ticket for 5 days didnt exist (max is 3 days). I make it short we ended up paying almost 2x the parking… exactly 57 eur on top of what was initially arranged because of some „not adequate“ handling on my side with the 2 tickets. I got 0 explanation from the hôtel in this regard before and having to move the car during the night for an emergency (my daughter again), I had no choice to pay to use the car and thought I would arrange the obvious with the hôtel the next day. The only thing I got from them is a „Lo siento“, I am sorry… no refund of what I paid extra, although they fully understood what went wrong. Let’s cash in on all fronts… Hey what’s the problem…. That‘s about how much they care about clients… what an experience. This left me in disbelief. They have some coffee and cake in the hall, that’s nice, but it doesn‘t make up for the rest. With this money (price of the room, which is relatively expensive for what you get, not talking about the additional parking rip off…) you will probably find something better in San Sebastián. Big disappointment, and a big waste of precious time and holidays. My advise? Clearly, don‘t stop there… Lo siento

This is a classy hotel with impeccable service, beautiful rooms, great location. Everything would have been perfect if not for the fact that the mattress on one of the twin beds was broken, as in collapsed in the middle. After the first night, I tried to explain this problem to people at the front desk. I had to do this three times to three different people before a manager came into our room to assess the problem himself. They quickly switched out the bad mattress after he came. I don’t know if they didn’t believe me at first or if it was a language problem, either way, it took a better part of the day to get this problem resolved, with no communication from them acknowledging the problem, or to say they were working on it…The handling of this incident was a bit disappointing. However, aside from the above incident, it was one of the best hotels I have stayed in a long time.

This is a great hostel. It is clean, they provide very nice breakfast choices as part of the booking. The wash rooms are very clean, showers work great too. They emphasise the need to conserve water and use recycled toilet paper. The staff are really excellent. On every occasion I spoke with someone, they were great, even when they are busy. I have stayed here twice. In 2017 after a Camino hike, and in 2020. It remains the one the best places I've stayed. They have a nice patio area, you can buy a beer from the reception if you fancy, and the supermarket is on the corner. The beach is minutes away (as is the Camino). Overall, full marks!!! I would stay again, and likely will.
