Hotels near Zurriola beach in San Sebastian

Unfortunately the hotel was a little underwhelming for me. We stayed for 3 nights at the City room, which says it can come with two Twin beds, a double bed, Queen, or King-size. I must have been unlucky because we had a double bed and room was tiny (there is no way a queen or king size bed can be included in the room). The layout was very odd: room was very small but it had a wide entrance and sizeable showers and toilet which was as big as the room. The only positive was the balcony which was quite nice (and big!). The breakfast was quite nice with plenty of choices so we enjoyed that. The other positive was the nice rooftop pool and lounge which would be nice during a hot summer. The gym is pretty good for the hotel, you can get a good workout here. And the indoor pool/sauna is delightful. We spent a few hours here relaxing (and inclusive of hotel price). However,i would also say the location is not ideal for us. We only had 3 days and most of the attractions are located and tours in the old town which was 15-20min walk away, so as we spent a lot of time there with rests in between day and night, we spent a lot of time walking back and forth which became tedious after a few days. When I come back to SS i would likely find a hotel closer to the old town. This is just my recommendation though.

We chose this hotel for our express exit to Donosti in accommodation and breakfast and we loved it! The room is very beautiful, modern, well equipped, the comfortable beds, a very chill-glass shower, the very soft and absorbent towels, hair dryer ”real” (not the powerless tube that usually offers other hotels), The hotel is located in the heart of the city centre, and the hotel is located in the heart of the city centre. The room was very comfortable and the room was very comfortable. The coffee shop despite being capsules offers a very rich coffee without being the ”aguachirri” you usually find in hotels. Personally we loved it. We were left two posts and a welcome note with a bottle of water. We recommend it and if We'll return to Donosti without doubt to repeat.

We booked a Premium Room directly on the hotel’s website (it’s cheaper than comparison websites) and stayed for 1 night. The rate of accommodation in this city is unbelievably expensive, and for close to €200 that we paid, we only got a room, with NO breakfast and NO parking. If we want to park at the private parking lot behind the hotel, we would have to pay another €15 per night, according to the hotel’s website. We were glad we did not, because we were able to find a parking space at the side of the road (plenty of them, depending on the time of the day) outside the hotel. Location of the hotel is outside the busy city, but easily accessible by Bus #28, which stops very regularly at a bus stand not far from the hotel. We will certainly recommend taking the bus and leaving your car, because parking is difficult to find in the city (and may cost you more!) The décor of the hotel’s common area is very elegant. The staff who checked us in were very efficient and knowledgeable about the events happening in the city during the busiest day of the year (we arrived on 15 August – the Virgin’s Day). Our Premium Room is spacious and clean, the décor is simple and modern. All amenities worked well. There’s a kettle, mini fridge, and complimentary coffee and tea. The bathroom is also very spacious and clean, the hot shower functioned well, and basic toiletries were provided for. We enjoyed our 1-night stay at the hotel, despite its location being outside the city. The bus is so very convenient to take.

Located in Oiartzun, near Donosti. A good enclave, to get to know Gipuzkoa... also a good option for passing through, since it is close to the motorway. Rooms with fridge and comfortable beds. Just point out that it was very hot in the room... we didn't try to put the air on, in case it made us feel bad. Buffet breakfast, complete... it has a bit of salty, sweet, fruits, yogurts, cereals, coffees and infusions. I recommend. The girls at the reception are friendly. Coffee and tea, free at reception. 100% recommended

Our experience unfortunatly didn’t match the comments we could read on Tripadvisor. First of all the hotel is situated next to train rails. Even with the windows closed you can hear the train and they pass by now and then including early in the morning. If you don‘t like to wake up listening to a train passing by, you may reconsider. Just google-map the hotel and pay attention to how close the rails are… The walls inside are pretty thin too. Being a family with 2 small children we were the ones that sometimes were doing some noise even if we were trying to pay attention to be as quiet as possible. One of the other clients, who complained a bit, qualified them of „paper walls“. Our daughter got sick towards the end of our holidays. We asked for advise at the reception for a pediatrician. We were sent to a place that doesn‘t have a pediatric department, since a while it seems, and doesn‘t take emergencies. It was a nice trip to this „hospital“ with a child who was sick… anyway this can happen… One day our room wasn‘t done, just because we were in the room when they passed and they just pass „once“. No luck… What I couldn‘t tolerate was the situation with the parking… the hôtel has an arrangement with some parking… given that we were staying few days (5 nights) they gave us 2 tickets. One for 3 days and one for 2 days. It seems that a single ticket for 5 days didnt exist (max is 3 days). I make it short we ended up paying almost 2x the parking… exactly 57 eur on top of what was initially arranged because of some „not adequate“ handling on my side with the 2 tickets. I got 0 explanation from the hôtel in this regard before and having to move the car during the night for an emergency (my daughter again), I had no choice to pay to use the car and thought I would arrange the obvious with the hôtel the next day. The only thing I got from them is a „Lo siento“, I am sorry… no refund of what I paid extra, although they fully understood what went wrong. Let’s cash in on all fronts… Hey what’s the problem…. That‘s about how much they care about clients… what an experience. This left me in disbelief. They have some coffee and cake in the hall, that’s nice, but it doesn‘t make up for the rest. With this money (price of the room, which is relatively expensive for what you get, not talking about the additional parking rip off…) you will probably find something better in San Sebastián. Big disappointment, and a big waste of precious time and holidays. My advise? Clearly, don‘t stop there… Lo siento

The hotel room is very large, clean and well-organized, even pillows can have many choices, very intimate! The staff's English is very fluent, and they take the initiative to introduce different attractions, very friendly and polite! The location of the hotel is far from the old city, but there is a bus stop nearby. If you take the bus, you can go to 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 in about 15 minutes. This hotel is highly recommended! 😃

Excellent hotel! Very large room for 3 of us. Shower was amazing along with the large bathroom layout. Breakfast was just perfect and staff are lovely. The hotel location was very good a 15/ 20 min stroll to the old town. The exterior of the hotel is underwhelming but once inside it is spacious and immaculately clean. Would definitely come back.

We have stayed at Ibis Irun many times, although not for a few years. Its ideally placed, near to the toll motorway and is perfect for travellers either going North into France or South further into Spain. Its not near the town, but if all you want is a bed for the night its clean & comfy, food in the restaurant was reasonable, there is a secure gated surface car park and they accept dogs. However, on this occasion there are some issues, I want to raise. The hotel is currently housing several families of Ukranian refugees and whilst we applaud the Spanish governments reponse to the refugee crisis and Accor Hotel's help with this, I do not think that unruly, unsupervised children should be allowed to play on bicycles & scooters in the public lounge (which is not very large) when weary travellers are trying to relax with a drink. The outside terrace was similarly not a place to relax with some of the older children playing loud music on mobile phones. We had driven a long way that day to reach Ibis Irun and relaxation was simply not possible. I would also point out that allowing very small unsupervised children to play in the carpark was extremely dangerous for them and a couple of times there was some very near misses with cars coming in and not expecting to encounter small children in their way.

My husband and I spent 3 nights in this lovely boutique hotel in San Sebastian. It is very centrally located - only a short walk from the old town and the beach. The reception staff are so friendly and helpful and gave us some really good restaurant recommendations. The rooms are lovely and very well serviced. The self service breakfast was very extensive and the servers were so friendly. I would really recommend this hotel as a place to stay in San Sebastion and we would certainly stay there again.
