Travelodge Sandwich

Absolute terrible night was woken up at 11 o’clock by someone making a hell of a noise in the corridor. I asked them to be quiet and with that he began to smashing in the door threatening to kill. I rang the police. They took two hours to arrive he gave up trying to kick in the door after about half an hour. I looked out the window and he was downstairs running up and down outside shouting threatening I went down to reception. The receptionist had locked himself in his room and only came out after I banged on the door. Front of the hotel door had been broken. I waited for the police arrive they never came over. Didn’t get any sleep at all that night so put in a complaint the next day and two months later, still haven’t been contacted by the hotel absolutely terrible customer service. 

Was left waiting at reception for 10minutes before checking in, but staff were friendly and helpful Pleasant stay just outside Sandwich, very quaint place to visit Overall, comfortable and well appointed 😊

Really helpful location for weekend trip mixing business and leisure time. Comfortable, clean and very friendly, helpful staff. Andrea and the team were incredibly welcoming and attentive at breakfast.

Really far from the station, would recommend a cab rather than walking like we did! Andrea and Theo were great at breakfast, very attentive.

First time staying at this travelodge, Location was ideal. All staff were friendly and helpful. Room was airconditioned which was excellent in the current temperatures. Andrea was the perfect host in the cafe at breakfast. Would I return if in the area certainly as very good value for money and dog friendly accomodation.

We come here every year in the summer and never fails us, some new staff since last time we was here but no fault atall all wonderful as ever. Nice to see Alison and Hannah still there smiling and helpful as ever and the manager Colleen. Thank you guys for another great yearly stay will see you all again next year.

We booked two nights at short notice to support a family member who was swimming the English Channel. Stayed with our two children and cannot fault the hotel at all. The room was set up when we got there with the extra beds, it was clean and spacious. We arrived late at night and check in was quick. The hotel was quiet, parking was easy. We had breakfast the next morning, our children ate for free and Andrea was super helpful both mornings giving us beach recommendations and making sure we had what we needed Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the area

ideal location as we spent day 1 at the seaside and day 2 at dover castle so this was ideally placed halfway. very friendly staff and extremely clean room. they had food available and the normal takeaway options very close by if you wanted. Quiet location and not bothered by external noise. Staff at breakfast were top notch with their teamwork and friendlyness.Breakfast was hot and tasty and plentiful.Big car park.

Rooms were very spacious and clean with very little noise levels, breakfast had a wide variety of food and the staff serving this, Andrea was very attentive and helpful to all our needs which made us feel very welcome, Only complaint is the fees for parking
