At the time of booking our reservation, *******'s site stated there's a $50 additional fee for a pet to stay at this hotel for a stay up to 4 days. I included a message to the hotel advising then that we were traveling with our dog and she would be with us. That message was either not transmitted to the hotel, or the hotel staff didn't read it. When we checked in at the hotel, we were charged a $75 pet fee instead of the $50 pet fee as stated in the information for this hotel on *******'s site. When checking out, we inquired about whether the hotel manager would reduce the pet fee to $50 so it is consistent with what was stated in the hotel information with *******. The front desk staff person had an attitude with us for simply asking the question and told us that the hotel manager, by name, doesn't do what ******* says and that the Hampton Inn isn't run by *******. Well, no kidding. We could have done without her attitude.
Further, the air conditioner was very loud, making it hard to sleep, and there were a few things in our room/bathroom that were in a state of disrepair. We will not stay there again.
