We checked in thought it was a worry free hotel. Not even 10 minutes in our room and a sketchy maintenance guy knocks on our day claiming our “night light “ is not working. Has a webpage of some sorts pulled up on his phone and he keeps point at it saying “night light out”. I had my wife and 2 kids with me. After closing and locking the door I checked the lights working just fine. We never called and reported anything literally just showed up. Needless to say I barricaded the door for the rest of the night. We didn’t shower because it was dirty. Honestly should be a one star. Sucks paying top dollar for a hotel and getting the discount service.

Stayed here for one night, and overall it was a good experience. Check in was quick and the front desk clerk was polite and friendly. All the staff at breakfast and check out were friendly too. The room was clean, spacious, and quiet. Probably could use a few upgrades (furniture, shower, carpet), but it did the job. Breakfast was decent--typical options (sausage, eggs, waffles, cereal, fruit, yogurt, etc..)

Mold in the bathroom, my husband stepped on a sharp object, very dirty. We spent extra money to stay in an over hotel and do not the pictures fool you. My husband is now having an asthma flare up do to the condition of this room!!!

The suite appeared very nice at first glance, but a few problems were encountered. First, there is no clock anywhere in the suite. I have stayed in hundreds of hotel rooms - they all had a clock of some type. Second, the A/C makes a lot of clickety-clack noises - not conducive for restful sleeping. Third, the ceiling fan was in the kitchen/office nook rather than in the bedroom...odd.

We come to Sanford for the Asian Lantern Festival annually. This hotel is our go to. Clean, quiet and close to the event. Not to mention there is an IHop, Bojangles and Texas Road House within walking distance.
