The room was nice and very clean, and it was cleaned daily around 9:30 AM. The staff were also very friendly and polite. The front desk had high security awareness; when I forgot my room card, they didn't just give me a new one, but required me to show my passport or a photo of it.

For my California trip this time, I chose to stay at two Hilton Garden Inns, and neither disappointed me. The one in San Mateo was larger and newer than the one in Garden Grove/Anaheim, and the breakfast was also more extensive. The service at both was excellent. There's a shopping mall nearby with stores like Target, Marshall, Ross, and Nordstrom Rack. There are also plenty of restaurants, making it a great choice👍

Second time there. The room is fine - clean and spacious as before. Didn’t notice shower door problems (off track and can’t be shut) till late. Asked for a room change as it was past 10:30 and we were planning to leave the next morning at 7. Front desk lady was reluctant at first and asked if we did anything and she could tell maintenance to go take a look. I told her we just wanted to shower, sleep and check out in several hours. Finally she gave us a 2-Queen room which was fine for us. AC noise seems to be a common problem. A pretty good hotel otherwise.
