Overall, the place met my expectations. It was a bit worn down, visible water damage in the shower, but nothing that looked gross or nasty to me. Overall, for what I paid, I was satisfied with it.
Breakfast was VERY underwhelming though. Don't expect much. It is very bare bones. Food is almost all gone around 8am and not replenished, so arrive by 7am-730am if you want anything to eat. But I'd recommend just getting food elsewhere.
Location is quite central to SanYuan District and is only a few minutes walk away from the riverside walkway/park.

The newly renovated guest rooms have good layout and design. The bathroom arrangement is a bit like a five-star hotel, and the bedding and furniture are very careful. Location in the city center, convenient for travel, work, and surrounding dining, and breakfast is decent. The price/performance ratio is quite high. The only drawback is that the attitude of the receptionist encountered is not so good, which makes people feel uncomfortable.
