"I had a disappointing experience at this hotel. During my stay, one of my valuable items was stolen directly from my hotel room. The manager was cooperative and kind, but he didn’t find a solution of my case. I hope management takes this review seriously and implements better security measures."

"Location location isn’t great, you aren’t anywhere near the main clubs/restaurants/etc. it’s either a taxi or the water taxi to get to the main parts of the island. taxis were really expensive so we took the water taxi which was €5 per person and around a 15 minute walk from the hotel. Atmosphere the hotel is quiet, not very big and very quiet older music playing. pool is lovely but the sunbeds are awful - so springy and you can’t adjust the angle so you’re lying in a really weird position. staff are not great with speaking english which doesn’t bother me but it was hard to get a few things sorted because of this. We only got breakfast and it was okay, sometimes hot and sometimes cold. Room room we had was a suite as there was 3 of us. shower was fantastic and bed was so comfy. however our aircon was absolutely shocking, and when I questioned it I was told that’s just how it is in the bigger rooms. I got 0 sleep the whole time we were there because it was so so hot, so that spoilt it for me unfortunately. They were really clean and our balcony was huge. If anyone is screaming or singing or blasting music in the middle of the night, do not expect them to be told to be quieter. Eventhough there is someone at the desk 24/7, there is no respect for anyone who might already be asleep. Also, you have to pay tax when you get there. Overall; the hotel is nice, clean & cool aesthetic, but because of no aircon, poor breakfasts & a bad location I wouldn’t be returning when I come back to Ibiza."

"For the price, you can't get much better value for money in my opinion. The room is massive, with all of the amenities you would need. The food is superb from the restaurant bar. I had a full English, a burger and the pad thai and each meal was plentiful and very nice. What really sets this place apart is the pool area, enclosed by lovely palm trees and numerous places to relax, either in the shade or the sun. The DJ who comes on at 1pm plays fantastic ibiza tunes and the vibe is very cool. People even come from other hotels to sample the music and vibe, which says a lot! Staff were also extremely helpful and friendly, so all in all, a fantastic place to stay. Thank you!"

"We arrived late, 4 adults, 1 child, 1 infant and the restaurant was closed. Went to the pool bar, no food, back to reception to ask where the food was. Answer was “downstairs”. Not helpful when you’ve just arrived and don’t know the layout. Back to the pool bar and eventually it turned out that cold food was available after 10.30 in the restaurant. So we waited and then raided the cold food. We had family suites sea view x2. Rooms 224 and 212. Room 212 had a sea view if you stood in the very left hand corner of the balcony, slightly disappointed. Room 224 had a beautiful sea view. Rooms were spotless but v basic. Bottle of water, keep that bottle and refuse it as that’s all you get, it doesn’t get replenished. If you want loom towels then you pay a deposit (£116), they are nothing special so why the deposit, surely people don’t take them, they are frayed and old. Staff are fabulous, so so friendly and helpful. Restaurant can be loud and chaotic, food was good but a bit repetitive. Fruit at breakfast was amazing, as was the freshly cooked omelettes. It’s a shame that it’s the guests can spoil the hotel. There was an arrival of I believe 3 families and kids galore. They were so so rude and disrespectful, we felt sorry for the staff at times who obviously have to remain professional. Well done team, you handled them well."

"Having so enjoyed our visit in 2025 we booked for 10 days this time. Not quite so good this time. Reception staff whilst friendly were not particularly helpful or proactive. Last year we had 2 beautifully situated swimup rooms which were light and airy, this year the swimup room faced the other way and was surrounded by bushes which made the room dark and probably also contributed to the multiple bites! It is advertised with multiple restaurants but really there are only 2 - the buffet and the Italian which you book. The buffet has upstairs and downstairs with separate adult only sitting sections but the food (which is good) is exactly the same. It seemed much busier this year so we had several waits for a free table. They are very efficient and friendly though and really try to get you seated. The beach, restaurant and bars are a bit of a hike down and uphill particularly if you are in the blocks farthest away. The beach is crowded and the hotel no longer has sunbeds. You can hire 2 for €45 + €60 for drinks/food service so they were mostly empty! The hotel also charges for the sunbeds by the entrance to the beach which seemed ridiculous. Being all inclusive means you don’t need or tend to go anywhere else but there really isn’t anywhere to go anyway. Lovely souvenir shop just up the hill and really well priced. Overall we enjoyed our holiday but we agreed we wouldn’t go again and I don’t rate it as 5 star."

"Nicely designed boutique hotel. Perfect for a personal retreat. High personal attention. Large, clean rooms. A very nice pool area. We enjoyed Antonio's anticipation of our wishes be it for restaurant and activity recommendations, the breakfast, a birthday surprise or drinks. The hotel is in walking distance to a nice beach and a handful of restaurants. We very much enjoyed our stay."

"While we were driving around the island we called into Mar Y Sal for a quick coffee. There is plenty of parking which is great. The coffee was lovely and reasonably priced. The place itself is only small but has that hippy Ibiza feel. It is also right on the beach. Would recommend."

Hotel Tagomago

"Don’t ever book a “promo” room at this hotel. They seem to think it’s a good excuse to give you a dirty room that smells of drains and has the noisiest fan in the world. The shower (when you’re lucky) is but a dribble. If you complain they shrug and say “promo room. You can pay €40 per night for a better room”. I told them it was dirty and they told me it was cleaned every day but it obviously wasn’t. Yes, they changed the towels. Yes, they made the beds but that was about it. The floors were gritty and sandy and the light switch was something to behold. We didn’t sleep at all because of the noise of the fan. Many of the sunbeds are tired and saggy and there aren’t enough when the hotel is close to capacity. A great location though, close to the ferry and water sports and literally a couple of nice beaches across the promenade"
