This is one of the best, if not the best resort I have ever stayed at. Absolutely top marks all round. As a regular Hilton visitor, even I was blown away. Here are the things I loved: - All rooms sleep 2 people, plus the junior suites have a sofa bed that can fit another 2. We managed to get upgraded to the junior suite and it has a stunning sea view with private plunge pool and outdoor shower - The resort was very quiet and peaceful. Set in the San Miguel cove, there are only 1 or 2 other hotels in this area so although the public beach is a 2 minute walk from the pool area, it feels like a private beach - The hotel has recently be renovated and you can tell, everything is spotless. My favourite part was the reception, lobby, restaurant, bar and pool area all open up into a fantastic open plan space - The staff were delightful, each of them looked genuinely happy to be there, and why wouldn't you when working in such a stunning location - Excellent indoor and outdoor gym area with great selection of equipment - Breakfast served on the 1st floor until 11.00 each day, stunning selection of hot and cold options - Beautiful pool cafe that offers drinks and food selections Top tips: - There is a beautiful walk on the trails from the back of the hotel/beach up to an old fort/lookout point called Torres d'es Molar, about 1.7km, definitely worth it for the views! Chiringuito Sa Ferradura on the way back is a really nice cafe on the shore offering food and drinks in a relaxed setting - The hotel restaurant is great, but we also ate at Aubergine (8 mins by taxi which was stunning) and also at Chiringuito Pascual just outside of the hotel grounds on the beach - You really need taxis to get anywhere. Local taxis are great, reception can order them for you. About 30 mins to San Antoni and 25 mins to Evissa, around 30-40 EUR each way Overall I loved the mix of the nightlife and busy areas of Ushuaia, San Antoni etc with the peace of this resort. I will be very happy to come back!
