Amazing place! We had an incredible experience at Katanwa Hotel y Spa. The staff was outstanding—attentive, friendly, and always ready to help. The food was delicious, and our room was spacious, spotless, and comfortable. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Tayrona National Park !

Once again, for the 4th time in the last 6 months, the family enjoyed the comfort of what Kantawa offers. During our day trip, we enjoyed the pool activities, and a fantastic and tasty lunch, topped off with a massage that was out of this world. I love this place. I will be going back soon.

Lantaca was so relaxing! It was hard to believe we were really just off the street when surrounded by lush green trees with the babbling brook in the back. A great pool, good food, and phenomenal staff. I’m slightly mobility challenged, but they were always there to help me down the stairs! Massage was perfect after a visit to nearby Parque Tayrona! There were some issues with water pressure and temperature in the shower, but they worked to resolve that as soon as they were informed.

This was a hidden gem that became home for 3 days for our group! It was nice to basically have the place to ourselves--group of 8. Very attention centered to guests, friendly ambience and great vibes with pool splashes on seats in varying degrees. The doors close upon entrance so you feel like your on your own island where you can eat, lay down on the hammock, swim in the pool, eat or try the sauna/jacuzzi. Very impressed! Coincidentally, I got to meet the owner on one of the afternoons and was impressed by his laid back/calm demeanor with plans to grow. Oh the plus is a very quiet spacious room, the chef if you eat there checks up on how your meal was and lastly and they'll turn on the Jacuzzi's as needed. Only minor feedback which can improve, is having someone available if our group was in the pool awaiting drinks. We had to walk to the restaurant or to the front to request it but only a minor inconvenience. highly, highly recommend if you want to escape from reality temporarily and enjoy this hidden paradise!

The hotel is amazing! It has the spa in the nature and the rooms are huge and comfortable. Jacobo and his team has looked after the whole group giving us the best time! I also asked for a massage quite late and they did all the best to accomodate it. It was the best massage I had, Eunice was super professional and gave me a relaxing massage in the middles of the nature. I could hear the sound of the river and the birds, it was the most relaxing thing I have done. I felt so good that I fell asleep

One of the best places I've ever stayed! The property, the service, the staff, and the food was beyond all of our expectations. It felt like a paradise! The pool is amazing, and again, the staff was exceptional. They went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. It felt like we were staying with family.

We had the most beautiful people experience ever, a passionated, humble and compassioned team opened their arms to receive us without previous reservation on new year's eve. They did all to create a joyful atmosphear for us. My wife spent the best holiday ever thanks to Angely, Juan and the entire staff. We spent the most meaningful new year's eve thanks to them and Edilberto Duarte, a native birder, who guided us through the Tyrona National park. The installations, the spa offerings, the restaurant and everything was really top notch. Although close to the street, the nights were very quiet and the beds extremely comfortable.

Dont use their cab service! They quoted us 130k and the guy tried to get 300k to drop us off in Santa Marta when our cab to the same drive was 100k on the way there. I had to pay him 200k to leave after a lot of arguing. He is ruining the reputation of an otherwise lovely place.

We came as a couple to do Chocokantawa therapy. Cocoa exfoliation, hammam, 1 hour massage with chocolate oil and 30 min jacuzzi, all with fresh mango juice: Brilliant!!! The masseuses Paula and Eunuce were very nice. The place is very pretty with a large flower garden, the Rio Piedra behind and a beautiful equipped swimming pool. We live not far from Tayrona Park and on the Caribbean coast it is the only place that offers this type of service. We highly recommend! Constance & Thomas

If you are looking for a paradise with peace and quiet, this is the right place. No music except the sound of the stream and the birds. A great, well-kept pool with various massage showers and jacuzzis complete the experience. A delicious, fresh Caribbean breakfast and very friendly staff make your stay a real pleasure! In the beautiful restaurant you are pampered with à la carte meals at reasonable prices! The gardens are a feast for the eyes! Negatives? We have nothing to say!

We loved the hotel. To start, the kindness of all the employees makes the experience even better. Special mention to Jacobo who explained everything about the hotel to us upon our arrival and took us to the Tayrona park the next day. The facilities are excellent. The wet area is very good, with a 10-person pool, water beds and swans. It has a sauna and Turkish bath and there is always someone waiting to bring a snack. The jacuzzis can be used with prior notice and are wonderful as they are prepared by adding foam. I also had a relaxation massage that I recommend, there are no words to describe it next to the river listening to it flow while they massage your head. The dishes you can enjoy in the restaurant are varied and I found them all good. It should be noted that although everything has its schedule, you can indicate that you need to have breakfast earlier or dinner later and they adapt without problems, which is appreciated. The spacious rooms with hairdryer and amenities, I didn't miss anything. If I return to the Santa Marta area I would repeat without hesitation, so thanks to the entire team for making the experience in this paradise even more incredible.

Very good facilities with friendly and always attentive staff. Wide variety of dishes on the menu with very good flavor. Perfect for overnight stays and days out with friends and family. It is a spacious and cozy place with direct connection to the river.
