Ocean view is a small hotel in a great location right in front of the park on ocean drive in Santa Monica. Hotel is on a smaller side but good enough for a small family stay and hotel staff and attendants are nice and helpful.  Pros:  Location, staff, ambiance and surroundings  Cons:  Small rooms, floors needed cleaning, the open side could be noisy at night

Check out is at 11 please Receptionist check in excellent treated thank you. Location hotel amazing lovely ! Quiet room. 5 Internet was a problem because we have to work. Terrible. But general very good

The room was big but located in the back of the building with direct access from the street. Felt a little unsafe. The hotel also charged me twice. The first card was declined but for some unexplained reason partial payment was still taken. Sorted it out in the end but it took a couple of hours explaining to my bank and the hotel manager to get it corrected.

The location is superb. There is a tourist tax, but it's within an acceptable range.

The hotel has a great location, and the room I booked was spacious. The only slightly odd thing was that the room was near the stairwell, requiring me to exit through a security door. The beach is right outside, and the morning sunshine was lovely. Overall, I would recommend it.
