The hotel is at a great location; Carls Jr is next to it and Mcdonalds across the street. But other stores are within minutes through car. Santa Monica Pier is also close. We really enjoyed breakfast! It had many options such as waffles, cereal, eggs, ham, and much more! The breakfast is a plus! The room were spacious and clean. We got a king beg and queen bed and the queen bed had its own room!

Overall good for a budget weekend stay. It's definitely 3 stars and has the standard amenities that you'd need for a short time. Rooms are dated and had some musky smells but we opened a window and we were gone most of the time so it wasn't too bad. Bathroom fan was also inoperable which made for a foggy time during shower time with a family of 5. Adequate and close to driving or public transportation for the beach.

The property is dated and very no-frills. The room was mostly clean, though the floors could have been better. The wall-mounted hair dryer didn’t work, and the non-slip mat in the shower was peeling up, which was uncomfortable. The iron is tethered to the ironing board with a steel cable, making it nearly unusable. The photos are more generous than reality, and the breakfast was low quality. Overall, it’s a passable option for a single night’s sleep, but far from comfortable.

Our family of 7 had a great single night stay at the Comfort Inn Santa Monica. Check it was smooth and easy- great customer service. Our room was clean and spacious- had plenty of towels for us to use, the beds were so comfortable. One of our rooms faced the main street so it was a bit loud during functioning hours from the city, but at night while sleeping it was not a problem at all. Breakfast was good- a lot to offer, but it went quick & there was a single person trying to refill and replenish everything. Its is a lot for one person to maintain and the room was small with one exit. Area around the building felt safe and there is a Carls Junior right next door. All in all would stay here again!
