Reviews of Fergus Style Cala Blanca Suites

More of a 3 star than a 4. We’ve stayed at many four star hotels and this one didnt cut it. Good points, nice and clean with spacious rooms. Negatives, not enough food choices. Some dishes were tasty and some were not. The tea bags were terrible. Even using two tea bags didn’t make a good enough brew. My husbands chair broke when he sat down at one of tables bruising his arm. The pool area was very cramped with sunbeds. The pebble beach directly at the back of the hotel had waste pipes filtering into the sea which was very off putting. Saving Grace and the highlight for us was the beautiful bay further at the back of the hotel with diving boards into the sea and then a stroll there in the evening to watch the sunset. All in all we had a lovely holiday but we wouldn’t return to this hotel.

Just returned from 10 nights at the hotel. We couldn't fault anything with our stay. Food was great with lots of variety and all the staff from the bar staff, waiting staff right through to maintenance were all so friendly. What really makes this hotel is the entertainment team, Mona, Barbie,Simba, Belle and Gummy Bear. My little boy loved kids and mini disco. 10/10 all round.

We came here on 26th April for a week, the first time in 12 years without children. On arrival we were blown away by the views of the bay. We arrived around 12.30 and unfortunately weren't able to check in until 3pm, we managed to get in at 2.30pm. Room was a nice size although we were top end of the hotel overlooking the road and walkway. Not much of a view. The bin in bathroom hadn't been emptied and there was hair and sanitary products left in there. We did report to no avail and it was emptied the following day. Buffet resteraunt was ok, always found something to eat although some days were better than others. The hotel itself was clean, reception always tried to help, and bar staff in jordies bar were lovely. Most days we booked the roof terrace at €20 per room per day. It was secluded, had amazing reviews and there was a fridge which offered soft drinks and fruit kebabs, no alcohol so you would have to go down 5 floors to go to the bar everytime you wanted a drink. I also witnessed 2 people fall when getting out of the tubs, nearest the showers as there was a step which was decieving and and almost invisable in the sunshine. This could cause serious injury. Overall, I did feel a little underwhelmed and it was missing minor details which could have made the whole experience much better. The all inclusive was very basic, 1 bottle of water in the fridge, towels required a deposit, not all drinks included, there were a couple of water stations, to refill your bottle. Pools were freezing and the undercover pool overrun with children so not a chill pool as advertised. Overall we had a great week but would we return very unlikely.

I have been here twice now and wouldn't hesitate to come again. The hotel is in a great location a short walk out of the main part of Santa ponsa. The staff are really nice, on returning this year, it was like being in a family reunion. Most recognised us from the previous year, and seemed genuinely pleased to see us again! Saskia on the front desk is just such a nice person, Andreas the barman is brilliant, the restaurant staff, fantastic, and as for the entertainment team, I can't say enough. My 2 lads love them. Moanna , we will meet again! It was a massive gut wrench when we had to leave. The sunset veiws are amazing. Hope to return again one day.

My partner and I have just returned from the Fergus style Cala Blanca suite hotel in Santa ponsa and I can honestly say we had the most relaxing time. We arrived earlier than the normal check in time and was prepared for a wait so we could check into our room. No such waiting was needed. The lovely receptionist (I didn't get her name, but it was only her second day working there) informed us that our room was ready, and after a short form filling, we were able to go to our room. The room was spotlessly clean with daily servicing from the hotel staff and it was very quiet, with very little noise heard from the surrounding area. It was a lovely, spacious room, with a separate bedroom and bathroom. The living room was nice and airy and has a small round table with 4 chairs around it, a long sofa, which doubled up as a bed, with a pull out bed underneath and this led onto the balcony. The balcony was roomy and had a small table with 2 chairs and a sunlonuger. The bedroom was large and lovely, 2 bedside units with drawers and a large mirror, which was lovely and it made the room look bigger than it was, although the size was ample. The bathroom was very nice, with the usual contents. The bath had a shower installment and my partner made very good use of the bath, which she found comfy and easy to get on and out of. The room has a separate room, with sliding door, to store suitcases and has a clothes hanging rail, with hangers and a shelf unit. We loved the layout of the whole facility and the amenities. The food was very good (lots of fish if you like that) and plenty of fresh fruit. The pool was a little cold, not that many people used it, but that is due to the time of year we went. However, the view from the room balcony and pool area is splendid, witnessing some lovely sunsets and on one night, a lightning storm out at sea. We had a lovely view of the bay and out to sea. The pool area also has a outdoor bar. Everything is accessible with ramps and lifts to aid those in wheelchairs or who cannot manage steps easily. This was great value for money, for a all inclusive break. What made our break though was the staff. From check-in to check-out, they were warm, friendly and so keen to make sure our stay was one to remember. We honestly felt like we were the only ones there, but we weren't. They made us feel like we were friends and that made it so much more enjoyable and special. I cannot praise or thank them enough.

Good experience with the animation team, good food and nice hotel, very clean.

The staff and the location of this hotel and access to the sea is 10/10 My girls are teenagers and we have been on an all inclusive holidays and there are some room for improvements. 1) the pool area is small - wouldn’t like to see it in the summer months. Also the main pool is freezing 2) no slushes at the small indoor bar area 3) poor evening entertainment 4) the daytime all inclusive snacks - non existence. You have to get dried/dressed to use the indoor restaurant Would we go back - no It was lovely break and what we needed for this time of year

My family and I stayed at Fergus Cala Blanca. I would rather this place and everything included as a 10/10. I don't think I could find a single fault if I tried. 1. The food: breakfast and lunch have an amazing selection and you can go everyday and still have something different although the food made for these meals are the same every day. The selection is fantastic. Dinner was by far the best meals of the day, themed dinners such as taco Tuesday ( I've been to mexican restaurants with less selection and worse food) I will mention Alvaro one of the chefs (usually on the meat/grill section), genuinely a lovely person who is so happy and welcoming smiley and welcoming. The hotel itself was comfortable, spacious and immaculatly clean. 2. The amenities that are available ( swimming, pool bar, adult area kids disco every day, games club) I need to mention the staff at the kids club and activities were amazing, my 4year old daughter lived her 'disco teachers' (Gummybear, Barbie, Jasmine, Woody, Moana.) they were so genuine and happy so see the children and help them enjoy their holidays. 3. To me there were so many amazing things and people there, staff really seemed to enjoy their job and you can see the effort they put in to make your holiday amazing. 4. Front of house / reception staff everyone was lovely and helpful and just down to earth people (Charlene and Saskia) cared for my daughter when she fell and hurt herself, like it was their own family. 5. Finally one person I have to mention on his own was Jorge. Jorge has been probably one of my favourite people I have met on any holiday. This man could not do any more for anyone, you genuinely didn't even need to ask , he just knew. He was everywhere and doing everything, you could see the pride he takes in himself and his job and in my opinion someone like him should be working as a GM of a hotel, he knew what the guests wanted /needed. I was trying to learn some Spanish and Jorge gave time, effort and feedback helping me structure a sentence and speak correctly (in Spanish) If someone of Fergus sees this , I would purely return based on Jorge and if he was a GM in another hotel I would go there. Thank you everyone at Fergus Cala Blanca for making our first family holiday together and amazing success, I am genuinely sad to be leaving but 100% I would go back. Perfect nice and hot good views and really nice staff

Whats a great place! Myself and my children arrived at the hotel late on Monday 18th of May to a warm welcome by reception. Who welcomed us and guided us to go get refreshments from the bar even tho it was closed to all inclusive. The hotel is so very clean the staff are so friends and helpful nothing seams to much for them. The animations team are some of the best ive come across. There work never seams to stop and they always do it with a smile on there face. They made me and the kids feel so at home we booked the superior suit which was a great space and comfortable we were even able to use a PlayStation that I requested from reception so the kids could play at night to chill down while I sat in the balcony and watched the entertainment. The mini club and the games club were brill with plenty to do and open at the perfect times. I would like to say thank you to gummy bear, simba, moana,belle and barbie. It was the first time ive been away with just me and the children and I dont no how id have coped if the amazing team wernt there :) The bar and restaurant staff again brilliant ! The cleaning staff great and always had a smile and friendly greeting. We would definitely return Thank you for help make great memory's

Another fantastic stay at the Fergus Style Cala Blanca Suites. Reception staff are brilliant, straightforward check in with no fuss. A great entertainment team they are a credit to the hotel. There are games to play all day if you wish and two pools, A special mention to Moana and Barbie who presented my daughter with a cake for her birthday, A lovely touch. Food is plentiful, there is something for everyone with a different country’s cuisine every night. The waiting staff are efficient and friendly, they do a great job. Bar staff are amazing Andres and Juan are great, brilliant fun and work so hard. The rooms are clean, spacious and cleaned regularly. Overall we love it here, it is such a welcoming hotel everyone goes above and beyond. A great team of people. This was our 3rd stay and I have no doubt that we will be back for a 4th.

Excellent family holiday, everything has been perfect. My two girls aged nine and five have had the best time. The holiday has been made by the staff, which help you whenever you need to a very high standard. But, Charaf, at the pool gets a special nod.

Came as family of 14 4 rooms with children and elderly granny. Everything we asked for was met. Excellent hotel and staff 👌 couldn't do enough for us will be back 100%

Decent hotel with good food typical all-inclusive and staff all very friendly. The suites need a makeover, we booked a superior suite but it was not superior in our eyes and overlooked a building site! We could just about see the sea and there was no sun on the balcony until a corner got it late in the afternoon. We didn’t feel safe with a 2yr old on the balcony, he could climb up easily. The furniture in the suite was old and in desperate need of replacing, the sofa bed was uncomfortable to sit on, I wouldn’t like to sleep on it. The beds were clean and changed after a week but the pillows were awful just not comfortable at all. The travel cot was great for a toddler. The walk in wardrobe needed more shelf space. The bathroom was ok. The children’s entertainment was good and the indoor pool got used a lot, the main pools outside were freezing and mostly unused, probably too early in the year for the sun to heat them. I think the staff and food make this hotel so popular.
