Excellent golf resort in a secluded area but yet close to Barcelona. There are activities for every body. The golf courses are in pristine condition and the hotel staff is always there for you. Ana in the restaurant and Yepi with activities were amazing!

The establishment's commitment to cleanliness and comfort is evident in its cozy rooms, though the dated furnishings and devices slightly mar the modern traveler's expectations. Service in a restaurant is a puzzle that needs to be solved immediately. Not worth the money.

It is my duty to inform potential visitors of my unequivocal experience at hotel. Let us address the accommodations: the hotel room boasts a luxurious bed that promises and delivers an unparalleled level of comfort and sophistication, ensuring a restful slumber. The spa treatments, I must admit, are quite nice, offering a semblance of redemption for this establishment with their attentive service and exquisite pampering. However, it is imperative that I address the dining experience, which was, frankly, a complete and utter disappointment. The culinary presentation was so unappealing it could only be described as ugly, causing an immediate loss of appetite. Such a lackluster attempt at gastronomy is unacceptable in a setting that claims to provide a premium experience.

Very disappointing and far from being at the level of a LHW!! Hotel beautifully decorated, but services and food really disappointing! Anyway, we are not surprised as, when we wrote our complains to the Hotel General Manager, he didn't even bother to reply to us or thank us for bringing the issues we encountered to his attention, so this speaks for itself. 1. 1477 Restaurant – Menu & service • 1st day: awful dinner, with really tasteless and poorly made dishes, nearly inedible. The appetizer "Peas Royale" looked like unseasoned canned peas placed in a soup plate, and the main courses were both unacceptable. In particular, the Grilled Tuna – which I suppose should have been grilled – was completely white – “mushy” (I hope this texture was due to a marinade, because otherwise it looked went bad …) and had a large piece of cartilage in the middle (3x4 cm). Inedible. • The waiter who served us drinks never noticed during the service that we were out of water. We got up three times to take the bottle and fill the glasses by ourselves (when we needed it, he was never in the room, nor when he was there, he noticed that our glasses were empty), and only at the end of the meal (we were already at the dessert) he saw that our glasses were empty, went to get the water bottle and was visibly surprised to find it empty. Despite this, he didn't even ask us if we wanted more (we could have ordered another bottle), but just put the empty bottle back on the counter, and disappeared. • The lady in charge with whom we complained about the "unhappy" dinner, was nevertheless very kind; therefore, although we were thinking to ask to change the dinners at 1477 with dinners at the Golf House, or even eating out, we decided to try again the following evenings. These were a little better, although never at the level of a good restaurant nor of LHW. 2. Restaurant 1477 - Service • Although the staff was very nice, we found several lacks in the organisation, communication and discordant notes in the service by the staff, in our opinion unacceptable. • We had arranged the half-board service through our travel agency, and following an exchange of e-mails with the reception, they made us reservations at the restaurant 1477 for 8.00 pm (simply to have a time indication to enter our reservations). • The second day, due to the traffic, we were a bit late and provided to call the hotel to advise to move the reservation to 8.30pm/9pm (quite a regular time for Spain). We were well aware that the restaurant closes at 00:00 and that orders are accepted before 22:30, therefore we were more than on time. Weirdly, we were told that they didn't know if it was possible to move our reservation. We were surprised and replied that we were in the traffic and that we would be there by 8.30/9.00 pm. This seemed very strange to us at that time and we were a little annoyed. What was even stranger was that for the whole evening there were only 5-6 tables occupied so no problem of overlap

I've just returned from Girona, and let me tell you, the hotel was lovely. The rooms overlooking the golf park! Absolutely fantastic, giving off the perfect vibe for a weekend getaway. But, and it's a big but, the restaurant experience was an utter disaster. First off, the wine was of poor quality, with a sour taste that lingered unpleasantly. How can you mess up wine in a place like this? And then, the famous langoustines, a dish I was genuinely looking forward to, turned out to be a massive letdown. To add insult to injury, we were seated at a table covered in layers of dried stains. It's as if cleanliness is a concept they're completely unfamiliar with. In short, while the hotel itself was a charm, the restaurant was a disaster that needs serious reevaluation. Sort it out, because no one should have to endure such a dismal dining experience, especially not in a place that promises so much more.

Lacking the vibrant touch I generally prefer. To top off the critical ambiance, the dishes served at their restaurant were disappointing. I sampled their Poularde, and it was far from the tender delicacy that I had expected. TBH, I had high hopes from such a seemingly promising establishment. To say the least, this place did not live up to my expectations. IMO, significant improvements are required, both in terms of cuisine and atmosphere.

The hotel itself pleasantly surprised us.It was a cozy place to relax away from the hustle and bustle. The soundproofing in the rooms ensured a restful night's sleep, which was much appreciated. But the dinner was in stark contrast to the rest of the hotel stay. Cauliflower cream soup and the famous juicy beef, although sounding promising on the menu, did not live up to expectations. Clearly, the kitchen doesn't quite grasp the concept of combining flavors, especially considering the price and presentation.
