I read so many bad reviews after I had booked and I was terrified but it wasn’t as bad as I thought it was going to be. Cons: Yes room furniture and deco very very very dated. Broken shelves in the wardrobe, loose handles on the bed side lockers, horrible looking yellow curtains. Smell throughout of the hallways and rooms of dusty old musky smell. No washing line to hang out washing or towels. I’m a heavy sleeper but the noise from the surrounding ***** and the noise of the train line right on the door step was a bit too much when you want to unwind and relax. Music and trains didn’t stop until about 00:30- 1am Only spainish channels on the tv and no smart tv to connect your own devices. Definitely is misleading as a 4 star hotel and probably people wouldn’t be as disappointed if it was a 2 star considering standards of the rooms. Bread rolls were always hard. Pros: Location is right on the beach, it’s a 10min walk to the train station to Barcelona and only €11 return. There’s a box office across the road from the train station that sells tickets so if there’s a big que at the train station you can also buy them there and it’s much faster. Staff are very nice and friendly. Food was good. Always replenished and loads of choices, there was a lot of fish options but it was very good, in general it was hot but yes sometimes things that didn’t need to be replenished as fast might have gone warm but there was microwaves if you wished to heat anything up. Rooms are cleaned every day if you wish, cleaners working so hard all day. Sun beds on the beach only €3 if you’re staying in this hotel and €7 for those who are not. Overall: We had a lovely time, it was such good value for money because for us it was a cheap last minute getaway so it suited us. The dated rooms and the noise was a big let down but we got over that and didn’t let anything ruin our holiday and we were happy that we did enjoy the food and the location and our overall stay. Would I stay again? Yes (but only if I was looking for a cheapy get away for a few days not a 4 star stay)

The best thing about going away from home is not having to worry about where you are staying and I was not dissapointed at all. The hotel is just as it is in the photos. Clean, plush and welcoming. We arrived late at night (20/10/23) after waiting 2 hours for our transfer then the travel from Barcelona to the hotel we were tired but welcomed by the wonderful night staff member I think his name was Thorko. He offered us something to eat and explained the hotel facilities. The pool is cold but once you get in its ok and it was fun seeing the look on peoples faces as they got in lol it was a conversation starter. The hotel is located on the beach and near the train station I actually think its the best part of the ***** 5 minutes from Aloha that does the best cocktails and night vibes. All the staff were friendly and the breakfast well I'm missing the breakfast 😀 cava with your freshly made omlette or pancakes, the fruit shots were delicious and how do they make mushrooms taste so good. Best bit was there were no kids!! I would definitely stay here again.

Very mixed feelings about this hotel. The good points The hotel it's self is very nice and spotlessly clean the rooms are a good size with great views of santa susanna and the beach, loved the lobby area with the table service and bar the staff where always very attentive with a smile, the pool is great it's got a great sized pool. The bad points One of the biggest things for me being a none smoker is having to constantly walk past people smoking outside the back door leading to the pool area nearly every time I walked out the door there was at least 2 or 3 people smoking sometimes a group of maybe 10 or 15 in the evening it's discusting there needs to be a smoking area away from the main areas or entrances. Santa susanna it's self is very nice but we found it to very quite too quite in fact there was no entertainment anywhere the entertainment in the hotel wax very poor. The room keys we was constantly having to go the reception due the card keys not working (they was nowhere near our phones). The food breakfast that was included was very nice, the Mexican restaurant called la pergola wow I've never had a food like that it was disgusting I ordered fajitas I expected fajitas but what I got was more like a chicken stew it was the worst Mexican food I've ever had, the pizzas are frozen so after that we never ate there again. If you want a relaxing holiday in a nice hotel with no entertainment it's great book but if you're under there age of 65 and like a bit of entertainment at night this is not the place for you it felt like sometimes without being rude we was in a retirement home with the age of the guests.

We spent 4 days between friends in this hotel, this stay and near the horrible location of the hotel and away from the seafront with all to the round of the dusts that overloaded for 4 days Côté restaurant les buffets matin midi et soir ont été identiques pendant 4 jours et d'une qualité médiocre L'entretien des chambres et très mal effectué la litière est très mauvais Il a fallu même un jour aller demander des serviettes propres qui n'ont pas été placées dans la salle de bain Les animations du showing a swimming pool on the roof It's just not bigger than a pathoire a scandal Finally this hotel doesn't erite me 4 stars even to Spanish standards Fly!!!!!!

Reception/ Arrival/ staff Swift check in and the staff was friendly too. Room: spacious, plenty of storage space and clean. Beds are comfy. The bathroom had a shower and a bath, plenty of shower gel and the towels get changed daily. Hair dryer in the room alongside a fridge too. Pool: plenty of sun beds and the surrounding area by pool is clean. Bar/ restaurant: we stayed half board and we were soft drinks were available for us. Food is always well topped up and serving areas are never empty. The staff don’t rush you when the restaurant closes and nor do they rush to clear away food… so if you are late at entering the restaurant, you can guarantee there will be food available. The food was absolutely delicious! Breakfast contained all your English favourite such as sausage, mushrooms, eggs, beans, tomatoes, hash browns etc plenty of fresh fruit, yoghurts, meats, biscuits and cakes. 7:30 - 10am. Evening meal was amazing too! Always fish and nice meat available, plenty of salad at the bar, fruit, desserts were tasty! Ice cream , cake, jelly etc. Serving time 8-9pm. Location: also excellent. Train station only a short walk away that takes you to Barcelona. Plenty of souvenir shops, beach a short walk away alongside bars and restaurants. Overall definitely recommend

We stayed in Hotel Sirius for a week as a couple. Firstly the hotel location is great, set back a little from the main ***** so a little quieter whilst still only being 5 minutes from the beach and a Carrefour. We had a premium room which was exactly as described, and comfortably suited our needs for the week. The cleaners were great and sorted the room out every day to a high standard. The food was fantastic, we were apprehensive about staying half board, but the food choice was mixed up every night and you always had the option to have fresh meat / fish cooked in front of you, so we really enjoyed. The pool and bar area were great, a few reviews mention lack of sunbeds but for the hotel size more than adequate, and we managed to get a sunbed everyday when we didn’t go to the beach. There is a lovely seating area around the bar you could sit on alternatively. Staff didn’t speak lots of English, but were all friendly and helpful. Would 10/10 recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the area. Many thanks!
