Our group of 15 people arrived tired, bedraggled and soaking wet from having been caught in a downpour at the Chichicastenega market and then traveled for 2 hours by bus to reach our hotel. The staff quickly booked us in and handed out the keys to us, so we could strip off the soaking wet clothing, and have hot showers. The tables were attractively set with the local textiles and colored glassware. They rustled up some delicious soup and warm dishes. Some of our party managed to use the inviting pool, but we were kept too busy during the days that we stayed at the hotel. The meals were all beautifully presented and delicious. We did manage to hold our book club meeting in the games room that the staff allowed us to use for this purpose.

Very nice and clean hotel. We thought it was a bit expensive for what you get. However the room was fine. We moved the beds around so we could still sleep together. When you’re in the bathroom, other people can hear you. And in the morning I woke up from the cleaners but that was all. The outside noise doesn’t reach the hostel because it is in an (save) ally. Also the people speak good English!
