William's Houses

Thanks to Zafyra! You made a difference! The hotel is good, far from Oia & Tira but close to Red, White, Black & Vlychada Beach so I recommend having a car. The facilities are clean and spacious, and in my case I was able to enjoy a mini pool inside the room. The breakfast varied, even better than in more expensive hotels. I must emphasize Zafyra, from the moment we arrived she helped us with great kindness, always with a smile on her face and she said goodbye to us with a little gift 😍

We have just said goodbye to our wonderful host William, we are going to other destinations but we still have in mind the memories of this stay made more pleasant thanks to the choice of this establishment. William's House is 15 minutes from Fira and 35 minutes from Oia. On the other hand, it is a stone's throw from Red Beach and the other famous beaches of the island. Perissa is the furthest from the establishment with approximately 20 minutes. William our host had organized our transfer from the airport. The only downside I would say of the stay is because I found the journey a little expensive but these are completely normal prices for Santorini (€30 for two people). We arrived early in the morning and were welcomed with orange juice and a slice of homemade cake. Very pleasant ! Right next to the establishment there is a quad and car rental company. Again the welcome was perfect, the car rental guy arrived while we were having a snack, he sat down with us and had us sign the rental contract. 45€ per day for a small car, 60€ with all insurance included. The following days we rented a quad with the same rental company, Giannis, very accommodating and friendly, we will leave him a good comment. 35€ per day of quad. We immediately left to explore the surrounding area. When we returned the room was ready and what a wonder! A wonderful view and an already hot jacuzzi. Two deckchairs next to the jacuzzi. The bedroom is very romantic with a four-poster bed. (We had room number 2). A fridge, two armchairs, a wardrobe, two bedside tables etc. The downside of the room is perhaps the bathroom, it lacked storage space to put our toiletries and the shower which is a bit small so the shower curtain sticks to our skin, it's not pleasant. But otherwise very very clean. Breakfast is brought at the requested time on the terrace, a basic choice which remains the same every day but to which a few different home-cooked elements are added (I think). Very pleasant. On the day of our departure, breakfast had been left the day before so that we could eat before taking the ferry. The trip to the port was also organized with the same driver for the same price. We also met our host's wife, I didn't quite understand her name but she was charming. The property is near a road. Even though you can hear the cars passing by during the day, it's quiet at night. The bus stop is not very close but not very far either. But I recommend the quad or the car, there are a lot of things to do in Santorini and the island is very large. So it's better. I hope I did not forget anything. Thank you William for this stay!

Very good spot because it combines the view with the quiet. There is easy access to the sea. It has excellent service and a fantastic breakfast. The staff very welcoming. Unforgettable stay! The rooms are airy and breakfast is served in the room. The price is very good for the facilities it offers and for the location, very close to Akrotiri with a view to the Lighthouses.

Ich war für eine Woche in diesem Hotel und habe es sehr genossen. Die Dame des Hauses ist überaus freundlich. Dadurch ,dass sie sich bestens auf der Insel auskennt, hat sie mir gute und hilfreiche Tipps gegeben. Daran merkt man, dass sie gerne ein Hotel führt und alles dafür tut, damit sich ihre Gäste wohlfühlen. Vielen Dank.
