The personal touches that Francesco, the concierge provided. From driving us the town and picking us up, to arranging a rental car. Daily service was also very much appreciated by Alexandria. Also having a well equipped kitchen and getting coffee pods to last us the whole week. I would definitely stay there on our next trip to Santorini. Oh and having our own pool was truly a treat!

I cannot say enough about Katharos Villas! Francesco and Allesandro are amazing hosts. They are both responsive, kind, patient and helpful. They take hospitality to a whole new level. Francesco offered us rides into town as it is a considerable walk and made recommendations for dining, etc.

OMG, I could go on forever about how lovely this place is, the sunset view, the warm pool, the villa itself. Let me summarise. The villa is gorgeous. It has all the amenities to cook, store food etc (pod coffee machine), comfy bed, great bathrooms. It's peaceful and not too far away from town The view. We watched the sunset from town with the masses, then watched it from our terrace every night after! Best of all is the team that will look after you, especially Francesco. He couldn't have been more accommodating, providing food, lifts and booking restaurants. Trust me when I say Oct is the month to go.

Family Holiday to Santorini!
Couldn’t ask for more friendly helpful hosts Alex and Francesco were amazing, they take pride in their work and nothing is to much trouble.
Alex and Francesco are available on WhatsApp throughout your stay. They sent us restaurant recommendations, things to do on the island, and anything we requested.
I was a little nervous travelling to Santorini with 3 children as I was always under the impression Santorini was aimed at couples. Katharos Pool Villas is the place to stay and perfect for families. Based at the top of Ammoudi bay (great for swimming in the sea and a little cliff jumping for dad and eldest son).
We had hired a car for the week but If staying local in Oia we really wouldn’t of needed it. Alex offered lifts into the town, but again only took 15 minutes to walk to the Caldera. The famous sunset is amazing and can be seen from the Villa. Everywhere is just so picturesque.
To add on arrival in our villa was a welcome good and drink hamper which was much appreciated.
There is even a smartphone with local SIM card in your room which makes it easier to make restaurant reservations during your stay, my personal phone struggled to connect to local numbers despite area code.

We stayed for a long weekend at Kathoros Villas and had the most amazing time! Alessandro and Francesco were incredible hosts and made us feel so welcome. The service was 10/10 and I would definitely come back to stay with them again :) The villa is located a short walk down to Ammoudi bay which we went to multiple times because we loved it so much and with the view and the pool we also spent a lot of time relaxing on site. The villa is also in the perfect location to watch the sunset every night before heading into Oia. Thank you Alessandro and Francesco! Wishing you all the best!

A super villa (one of just 6) with a small private pool. It was perfect for our family of 4. The hosts Francesco and Alessandro were charming, friendly and attentive and made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. I was grateful for their help in organising a birthday cake for a family celebration. The villa is a 15-20mins walk uphill to Oia along a very safe path - no traffic. Ammoudi Bay is 5mins downhill where there’s a handful of tavernas. Oia is a truly special town with breathtaking scenery all around. Katharos Villas are perfect if you want a relaxing break a short distance from the craziness of Oia but with all the beauty of Oia close by. Highly recommend.

The accommodation is comfortable (especially the bed) and well equipped, the air conditioning is very quiet & efficient, the outdoor space is great & loved the private pool. But the exceptional hosts are what made the stay amazing, nothing was to much trouble, from advice on where to visit, booking the best tables at amazing restaurants, lifts into Oia to complimentary bottled water, coffee capsules, a lovely welcome bowl of fruit, bread & wine. Villa cleaned daily, regular fresh bath & pool towels. Can’t recommend these villas highly enough! We will definitely be returning.

Beautiful hotel with view of the cruise ships coming and going and close to everything! Private HEATED pool with jets! So relaxing after a fun day. Very large room! Amazing, helpful and friendly staff. Would stay here again and highly recommend!
