Such a great place to stay! Very near to the bus station, the beach, cafes, restaurants! What an amazing visit! My boyfriend and I stayed here for 6 nights. We stayed this time last year for 5 nights and loved it so much, we came back for an extra night! Kiki and Michail were fabulous, kind and attentive. They were helpful with check in and check out, and showing us the facilities for our room. We had an amazing ground floor room with a terrace which overlooked their new pool that has just opened - a bonus! We were able to switch between pool days and beach days - the best of both worlds. The rooms were cleaned everyday and new towels were left everyday. The hotel itself is spotless. It’s beautiful and has a traditional Greek style and design, adding to the authenticity of the hotel. The location was perfect. Perissa is a quiet town, and the hotel was far enough away from the hub bub of the beach bars and restaurants so we didn’t hear any noise, but only a 5 minute walk to the beach! We loved our stay so much, and we cannot wait to come back for a third time in the future. We had breakfast included in our stay, and it was simple but efficient! A new coffee machine has been installed too which is a nice touch! We love this hotel and Santorini itself! Thank you Kiki, Michail and family. A truly memorable stay 💙

Our stay at Irigeneia Hotel was outstanding and one of the highlights of our trip to Santorini. What truly set this hotel apart was its warm, family-style atmosphere. It felt more like staying with welcoming hosts than at a typical hotel. Seeing the young children around the property added to the genuinely homey feel and made the experience feel authentic, relaxed, and personal. The rooms were perfect—comfortable, clean, and well-appointed. The air conditioning worked flawlessly, but we also loved opening the windows and enjoying the beautiful ocean breeze whenever we preferred. We arrived early after a morning of travel and were incredibly grateful that, since our room happened to be available, they allowed us to check in right away. They even welcomed us to enjoy breakfast despite our early arrival, which was such a thoughtful gesture. The hospitality continued throughout our stay. Because no guests were scheduled to use our room after checkout, they generously allowed us to stay later before our departure. These small acts of kindness made a huge difference and reflected the genuine care they show their guests. The staff also helped us navigate the local bus system, making it easy to travel back and forth to Fira and Oía without any stress. Their local knowledge and willingness to help were greatly appreciated. The location was ideal. The hotel is tucked away in a quiet area, giving it a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere, yet everything you could want is just minutes away. The black sand beach is only about a three-minute walk, and there are endless shops, restaurants, and cafés nearby. We especially appreciated staying here instead of in the capital. The quieter setting, combined with easy beach access, made for a much more enjoyable and relaxing experience. If you're looking for a place that combines exceptional hospitality, a fantastic location, and a truly warm family feel, Irigeneia Hotel is an easy five-star recommendation. We would happily stay here again.

This was our third time staying with this amazing family run hotel. First of all, the location is so perfect because it is quietly away from a lot of noise. It is surrounded by beautiful green. The rooms are so impeccably clean. Everything you need is nestled in one place. They offer a very simple and traditional Greek breakfast. This year was the a special treat because my parents were with us. She helped them out so much because they needed a few things that only a local would be able to help with. They will go beyond anything for their guests. I definitely must not traded for anything else. And they are presently building large area with a swimming pool and I’m sure it will look unbelievable.

Such a great place to stay. Couple blocks from the water and many food choices. Owners are a joy to be around! And very helpful! Layout of building is exactly what you think of when you think of Greece.

On our first holiday to Santorini the Irigeneia was a beautiful hotel nestled in Perissa. We had easy access to the beach, less than a 10 minute walk with loads of shops and restaurants dotted around. The hotel was quiet and the family that ran it are so kind and helpful! We had breakfast every morning which had a variety of food - cereals, fruit, pastries etc. The room had everything we needed - safe, fridge, hairdryer, toiletries. We were also able to arrange taxi pick ups from reception which was very helpful to get to Thira and the airport! We loved our stay and hope to be back one day, thank you Kiki and family 🫶🏼💙

This is a small, family-run hotel, but the rooms are spacious and the ones we were in on the ground floor had nice patio areas. The furnishings are outdated, but functional, which was fine with us, but pickier travellers might not consider this a 4-star hotel. The people who run the hotel are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very basic, but filling. It's a short walk to the famous black sand beach, and there are lots of restaurants nearby.

A big thank you to Kiki for her kindness, her welcome and her patient. His wise advice allowed us to discover remarkable places, very good restaurants, and good ideas for our days. The hotel itself, without being on the sea and the beach, is 3 minutes walk away and everything is nearby. The rooms are very good (excellent value for money). The breakfast without being extraordinary is good. We had a great stay. We will be back.

Erigeneia hotel Santorini - Very basic amenities but clean and comfortable. Lovely and quiet but the area around can do with a face-lift. Near the beach and public transport though. Some lovely restaurants on the beachfront. Nice quiet area. I liked it because I do not like noisy evenings. More a place for older guests or for those who want a quiet relaxing place after exploring busy Santorini. Breakfast was very basic, but there was enough to eat. I feel they should have more of a variety. The hosts - husband and wife team, were very friendly and helpful though. They moved us from a room with a double bed - to a family room (triple room) since two beds were requested at time of booking.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for three nights. Overall, we had a pretty good time. Kiki was very friendly and helpful. I would improve the slightly dated decor and the cleanliness a bit. It's in a strategic location near the beach, which you can reach on foot, and by car or scooter, you can reach nearby towns in less than 30 minutes.

A big thank you to Kiki for her welcome, her patience (with our broken English), and her relevant advice which allowed us to have a great stay. The hotel itself offers excellent value for money, our room was comfortable. The black sand beach and the seafront restaurants are a 3-minute walk away at a leisurely pace. We will be back.
