Nissia Beach Apartments & Suites

We have just returned from Nissia beach apartments where we stayed with 25 of our family and our friends for 1 week to celebrate our wedding in Santorini. Dora and the staff had liased with me over the past 18months to arrange our booking. Nothing was ever a trouble and they went above and beyond to ensure it was everything we dreamed of. This included offering us extremely competitive rates, accommodating my elderly parents in the most appropriate room and purchasing items we requested for gifts to go in welcome bags I created for our guests. The service we received before we even left home was 5 star and more. On arrival we were greeted with hugs and smiles, check in was swift and all guests were extremely happy. Small issue with one room and it was explained to the guests, discount offered and there was not a single issue as it was rectified swiftly. Breakfast is beautiful, served on the beach under a lovely canopy and we all enjoyed meeting together each morning for this. Catherina and Theoni were amazing every morning serving breakfast with smiles and chats. Our 4 children were always accommodated with whatever they needed for breakfast. We stayed in the 2 bed suite that opens right to the pool. Best room in the house esp when you have children with you. All week they ran in and out to the pool and used our little jacuzzi outside the room also. No issue using snorkels and floaties in the pool and they were so happy. Pool bar is wonderful with lovely music playing each day, bar closes at 10pm but Lita and Panos were so accommodating keeping the bar open for us for quiet drinks after this whenever we asked. Rooms serviced completely every single day, we have never ever experienced this in any hotel before and I've travelled extensively. Cleaned to the highest standard every day. Location is amazing on the beach within walking distance of all bars and restaurants in kamari. Private beach loungers also available right in front of beach no charge...its €10 per bed further up the beach. The staff are what truly make nissia beach what it is. It's family rum and evert customer is treated like family. We have truly made friends for life at Nissia and we are already hoping to return for our 1st anniversary. All staff looked after us so well, especially on our wedding day, the kindness we were shown will never be forgotten. Each staff member came to us personally to say goodbye on our last day and again this has never been our experience anywhere else in the world. What an amazing place, from the location to the lovely immaculate greek spacious rooms, this place is 5 star ⭐️ wouldn’t stay anywhere else, dora, nikos, leeta and star of the show troufa the dog were the most friendly welcoming team. the beach is across the path and breakfast was freshly made with fresh ingredients every morning, so much nicer than an all inclusive buffet style, they will also let you eat wherever you prefer (beach, room, lounger) nothing is ever too much. each room gets fresh towels everyday and fresh bedding is changed regularly by their lovely cleaning staff. reception were great helping with buses, taxis and giving us bottled water on arrival as we got their late (thanks costas)!! Leeta and her son on the bar were the best hotel staff i’ve encountered, would play with the kids and help out keeping them happy! BEST PLACE WE HAVE EVER STAYED if we could rate it more we would. Thanks so much for making our 2nd visit amazing yet again!! we look forward to a third time here.

These apartments were absolutely fantastic, just perfect in every way. We had a pool view with hot tub with a sea view also, the staff were so accommodating and kind, we will definitely be back. The breakfast by the sea was so breathtaking, the kids loved it too and want to go back. What a gem of a place in the beautiful Kamari

Visit mid May 2023. We had apt 20 which is right at the top, with a huge roof top terrace and it’s own hot tub. Absolutely loved it 😍😍 but you do have to go up about 30 steps to get there so don’t book it if you’re struggling with stairs. However, we enjoyed all aspects of our stay, fabulous helpful staff from the breakfast girls, to the chamber maids to reception. So friendly and kind. True Greek hospitality at its best. Didn’t really use the pool but it was kept beautifully clean. The breakfast is huge! And a delight. The first day we ordered fruit juice, fresh fruit, yoghurt with honey and muesli, then one of the many cooked offerings. By day 3 we were down to fruit juice and yoghurt! And the yoghurt is a big bowl, with thick creamy Greek yoghurt, so that was more than adequate and we loved it. Sadly there was an American family with 2 unruly screaming boys who ate there most mornings, but that wasn’t the fault of Nissia, although it made breakfast far less enjoyable and we always tried to get as far from them as possible. The location is great, beach in 1 minute, hundreds of restaurants in just a few minutes. What more could you want? Would love to return again. Totally recommended.

Just got back from a 3 night stay at Nissia Apartments. Absolutely wonderful! Apartment was spotless, beds comfortable and the breakfast was beautiful. The apartments are in an ideal location, overlooking the sea with a 5 minute walk to the local bus stop. All of the staff were kind, welcoming, and always had a smile. Special shout out to Kostas for making us feel super welcome, always had time to chat. (Isabelle loved her chocolate.....thank you!) Also, a big thank you to Anna for looking after us at breakfast every morning. Would recommend to anyone and can't wait to come back for a longer stay!

We have spent 5 days at Nissia Apartments and have had a wonderful stay. The rooms have character and are spotless . Staff are friendly and helpful at all times. Breakfast was amazing and served with a smile three courses and drinks every morning included in your room rate . Kamari is a good location to explore the island and a retreat from the hustle of the main towns. We highly recommend this hotel

If you are lucky enough to visit the Nissia Apartments you will be very, very happy. From the wonderful family that host there to the surroundings- right on the front with such a choice of restaurants and shops both locally and further out, freshly prepared food to order, traditional rooms with very modern amenities, comfiest beds ever- I cannot thank them enough for making our stay (four women- one birthday biggie!) so perfect. Surprise beautiful cake and card from the staff on the day. Breakfast is included and your choice from the menu is prepared and served with so much care - we really felt pampered. All of them just had the loveliest, friendliest smiles- Litza, Katerina, Nicos, our wonderful lady who serviced our rooms EVERY DAY clean towels and linens and the lovely office staff (truffles the dog!) Everything was so clean and the level of attention given to their guests I truly haven't found elsewhere. We felt we had found friends and will definitely be returning. Just back from a wonderful week spent staying here. The staff are just amazing and the location is the best! We ate at all the restaurants recommended when we checked in and so glad we did!! Every morning we had breakfast by the beach and you got so much that you would struggle to want lunch later on! The rooms were clean and air conditioned and serviced every day. The pool was relaxing and never too busy. The location is 5 mins to the bus stop, the beach in front of you and lots of restaurants and bars all nearby. I will definitely stay here again if we visit. There were vineyards within walking distance offering excellent tastings, the ancient town of Thira walkable too and the local bus service was excellent. We ended up staying another night as our flight was cancelled so I’ve included the photos of both the Apartment we had for the week and the studio room for the night. The staff could not do enough for us when BA cancelled our flight 6 hours before departure and we were very lucky that they had one room left! You won’t be disappointed if you stay here!

We have just returned from a good weeks break at the Nissia apartments. We had an excellent welcome from Costos, giving excellent recommendations for trips and restaurants. He arranged reservations at Oia when we witnessed a fantastic sunset whilst enjoying a wonderful meal. Katerina and Theoni were very professional and friendly as well as being incredibly hard working. Despite their long working hours they always had a smile and were cheerful and polite. The room was clean and tidy, with fantastic views over the sea. A wonderful break …. Thanks to all x
